The twitter lottery codes don't get you to premium ;) They're not 'retail points' which generate turbine revenue. (I've used them before.). Isengard did not give you VIP. Any $ purchase gets to you premium. The One-day VIP from RoI pre-orders was a BUG and not intentional. (it was also intermittent.) ; Purchases made from points earned in game DO NOT make you premium. ; The only thing that gives you premium is a transaction that generates revenue for turbine.

The ONLY free skirmishes before Volume 2 are Seige of Gondomon, and trouble in Tuckborough.

Stand at Amon Sul is NOT Free. Defense of the Pony is NOT Free.. Nor are Icy Crevasse and Attack at Dawn.

Epic and thus Free: 2.5.5 (Battles [Deepway, 21st, Hall of Fire]), The Mirkwood Skirmishes (since they're all part of the epic!).
