I get the sentiment, but Archie didn't have 4 National Championships to his name. He has far more experience and a stronger resume than Archie. The "young up and comer" is misleading when considering McCollum. I think this guy would get it done.

Just put in some work. No way this Indiana team isn't talented enough to finish in the upper half of the B1G, but they need to prove it. I'd much rather be underestimated, anyway.

Yes. And outside of Michigan State, I just don't see any other team being that much stronger than the Hoosiers.

FYI: You should tell your brother to get with the program and cheer on the Hoosiers!

Different teams obviously, but Michigan is surely ready to exact revenge from last season. They might be more vulnerable against Illinois by looking toward the IU game.

And how is it possible we finish at Michigan in back to back years?

Can't argue too much with these rankings, but I'd actually put Ohio State at 7 and move IU and Nebraska up a spot each if it reflects where teams are at right now. OSU lost a couple and IU is hot. If IU beats Nebraska, then I'd move IU past Nebraska.

Glad the Hoosiers didn't throw in the towel after the PSU collapse and Purdue debacle. But as a fan, I can't stop thinking how much that PSU loss (above all others) might mean in the end. Had IU finished that game, they are 8-8, and looking at a split for 9-9 and most definitely on the bubble.

Again, glad that the team got past those games, but I don't know that the committee will be able to, even if IU finishes strong.

This is why I hate being so connected to the recruiting trail now. Major disappointment. As a kid, I didn't know a player until they showed up at Hoosier Hysteria. Now, it's like getting punched in the gut several times a year when we "lose" a recruit we were confident would commit to IU.

Both seem like excellent options for Gordon. It's just going to be about what he believes is the best fit for him in his last year playing college basketball. He would certainly fill a need for the Hoosiers and i would love to see him at IU, but if he chooses Butler or someone else, it's not heartbreaking.

If you want to start, you better work. The message is for the entire roster. With the exception of Yogi who is our only PG, I don't see how you can assume anyone is safe. Will has proven he's a hard worker, so there's little doubt he'll be starting. However, there will still be plenty of talent in Bloomington next season. Minutes are up for grabs, and whoever gets them will deserve them.

Didn't have it last night. Feel terrible for our team because I know those kids and the staff put everything they had in to it. It just wasn't enough.

Frankly, the Hoosiers hadn't looked that strong for some time recently. There was no polish to their game and the decision making was questionable at best. Despite the disappointment, a Sweet Sixteen run, an outright B1G Title, and the most weeks at No. 1 this year is a pretty darn good season...just not a great one.

Thoughts on how this might impact Victor?

With Mo and Vic being from the area, do you think this will positively or negatively impact Vic's game? Or does it even matter?

Mo doesn't play much, so I doubt it's a factor there unless we need a shooter against the zone and he returns to form magically from the high of being near home.

Wyatt was either totally spent or just "conserving energy" for a bigger moment, because he showed no gas in those clips. He just seemed to give up. Seems to me like Vic had the extra juice at the end and Wyatt was either too frustrated or not conditioned well enough to keep up the same energy.

I wondered why Crean had so many different guys on Wyatt early (was he searching for something or by design?) but the brilliance of that decision really showed late.

CBS is really disappointing me with their "experts." Barkley is comical at best. Seeing them try to make something out of a game that was going to be one-sided made me laugh.

This game was no contest from the start, as it should be when you're truly a No. 1 seed. Hi Kansas and Gonzaga.

He did go 4-0 against Belein and Izzo this year, though. Ryan just has Crean figured out and it seems to me like Crean is either too stubborn or just not capable of out dueling Ryan.
