I could see that. Something built off of the same chassis as the chimera perhaps? Or at least a distant cousin? I guess I may be against it because the fluff sets up this scene where everything is built off of the same template and then they come out with the Tonka Truck of Terror which looks completely new.

Also the tracks just bug me. Wouldn't you want the longer section touching the ground so that you would have better traction?

Personally I don't think the taurox is ugly per se, it just doesn't fit with the IG aesthetic. I could see it in the Gears of War video-game franchise but something just seems out of place here in the 40K universe.

As NockerGeek said there is a surprisingly robust independent brick and mortar network in the KC area. It was like the promise land coming from rural Kansas. I don't think I would go to a GW store now even if they did decide to branch out to our neck of the woods. Probably a few times just for the novelty of it all but I have found some pretty great store owners out there and try to support them with my gaming dollar as best as I can.

I don't know if this falls under #5 exactly but for me its the chance to be "clever". I rarely get to commit the full time/money/effort I want to really get all of the "power gaming" gear so when I can whip together a rag tag army that has a really nasty surprise or a seemingly unbeatable stratagem I get to feel like a member of the A Team and who doesn't want a piece of that action?

Personally I think you should go with the Chaplain. His overall bonuses effect the entire group rather than just one character. Also, his special abilities are universal where the Grand Master's are unit specific ( Deamons mainly, but there is a slim chance you wont run into a psyker army either thus wasting your hood). Take this all with a grain of salt though, this comes from an Iggy player who is more accustomed to having these guys beat on him rather than help him out.

Fantastic article, I especially enjoy the Psyker Touring Bus. I would even go so far as to throw the Primaris in there and dare people to shoot me with their whopping LD 2. Who needs smoke launchers then :-) ?

I can't really speak to Jeremy's artistic choices but I think that the character bit into the conedog laterally as you would corn on the cob. The reason being is that is quite the sizable snack.

He was drawing that detail at 3 A.M. and was sleepy as he is wont to do at times

I started to think that about Conedogs too. You don't have to worry about the condiments falling on your hand NOR do you have to worry about biting into that damn stick. Lastly, I don't think you could pull off combo #3 WITHOUT the cone.

I asked Off about that too when I saw the preview. He said that he did not intentionally draw Sr. from OCC it must have been in his subconscious. What that says about Off subconscious.... I'll let you run with that
