Have any of you seen the movie Stand By Me ???? Hhmmmmm... I say go for all of it but locking the doors. Instead of locking the doors to keep the children safe, I would love the National Guard to come and help out the state and local police.

Methuen High did have it. My daughter took ASL but could not continue with it this year as the class has been cut.

You guys are killing me..... EMT's recert every other year. They recert CPR every other year. They must complete 24 hours of misc ongoing continuing education every other year. They must complete a 24 hour refresher class every other year. When that is done they send in their forms with all the combined required info and get a new certification card that is good for two years.

actually, I was informed that they watch many of these houses and sometimes wait till the winter months before they make an arrest.....
If you arrest a person for dealing on a front porch, you get that person and thier drugs...
But, If you arrest them in the apt., you get everything in the apt............

BS !!!!!!! Sad excuse !!!!!!!!!
I am a lucky adult in the sense that I grew up in a military household....... I talk to and respect my children, I also have some VERY STRICT rules that they actually abide by........ Because when they behave, They get to make thier own sound decisions without a dominating presance in thier face. When they mess up we talk about it, they take thier punishment with humility and then we let it go....... It's called love and respect, and it goes BOTH ways......
Parents have to follow through EVERY TIME if they want it to work out....thats what the Lawrence problem is..... No adults at home...cant behave like a child and expect to raise an adult !!!!!

If a child is being delinquint, I think the parent/parents should also be investigated and/or charged with any crime thier kids commit...... Since when shouldn't the parents be responsable for the crimes thier little darlings do, in the eyes of the law????
When I was young I had the fear of god in my eyes if I even thaught I had pissed off one of my parents........ My how times have changed !
