It's really hard to pick a favourite. But, I have to say, even though it lasted only a couple of episodes, seeing an alien in command. Sure, Worf commanded the Defiant, but only when Sisko wasn't around. Saru was, for a short time, the captain of the show.

Runners-up would be finally having a gay couple on the show, and (though it might get me flamed) the new Starfleet ship designs. (The Klingons, though, were awful.)

I'm so looking forward to Threadripper. I hadn't thought about video editing, I've been so focused on 3D editing and rendering. But I'd love to start editing video again, it's been years.

For me, the most relaxing game I've experienced is Wurm Online. You really can't be anything but relaxed in that game, it's so slow-paced. (Until you have a troll chasing you or something. Most of the time, though, especially in a guarded deed, relaxing.)

I doubt it was unintentional at all. The stock photography company probably put out a call for virtual reality shots. As anybody following video games has a known for years, you can't sell VR by looking at people playing them from the outside. So how do you make a good photo that people will want to buy? You make them hilarious.

Photography is an art and takes a lot of thought. You make it seem like these professionals (who would have to buy their own headset, so they would know how it works) just snapped a few shots off the cuff.

Nope, it is Amazon's fault. Just like Amazon took care of it when UPS messed up on a delivery recently. They were responsible, and they will then take it up with UPS themselves.

It's artists who made this DLC. It's purely cosmetic, just like the portrait packs in other games. Thus, if you want those people to work on the fixes or new features, you're saying you want them to work on patching the game.

Roll20 seems great, except games fill up so quickly it's difficult to get into any. I also just bought Fantasy Grounds, so I can have a wider variety of games available and, if I ever decide to GM anything, I can pick and choose the service that works best for the features I want.

Given most Steam games support Linux... no, they don't, not anymore. The only reason I'm still on Windows is Photoshop and Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

Same here. Nothing will make me turn away from a service or product more than not being able to navigate and find information. 'Hurry' and 'Buy now!' will instead make me hurry to close the tab.

Just a couple weeks ago I was reading about a lawsuit here in Canada where cops were witnessed by many people calling a guy with a broken leg a wimp and to walk it off. Cops don't always do the right things.

Love this idea... except, I'd like to see a challenge without landscape involved. Being wheelchair-bound and lacking a vehicle, I'm really not able to get out and about enough to find 17 landscapes, especially with some specifics on this list requiring leaving city limits, which local wheelchair transportation won't do affordably.

But yeah, while this particular list doesn't work perfectly for me, personally, I think this is an awesome idea.

Actually, the backdrop in that scene, while it was done on blue-screen, was not CGI. It was a physical model. Just a small physical model. There's actually a lot less CGI in the prequels than people think. (Though still too much. You'd think they'd use a /few/ people in costumes for closeup clone troopers, but nope.) People mistake blue-screen with CGI.

It's still an issue because it's difficult for the actors, but blindly calling CGI when I've seen making-ofs where they're hand-carving the physical models annoys me..

I adored it, though it was a lot more like a long term care or rehab hospital than a day-to-day hospital like they wrote it. (I've spent time in both as a child and teen.) But, yeah, the writing was fantastic and so was the acting for such a young cast. I think, really, it would have been very successful as a Netflix show, but with its serial nature, focus on younger characters and serious (some say depressing, though the show kept a very hope-filled tone) subject matter, it didn't really fit network TV.

I was very sad when it was cancelled, even though I rationally understood why.

Niche? Arkham Knight was the #2 most anticipated game release so far this year, after the Witcher I believe.

Want to see what a niche game looks like? Check out Wurm Online. The Arkham series, however, is a blockbuster. And they royally screwed up on the PC front.

The shot that shows before you enter the article is believable. Photorealistic CGI furniture has been around a long time. (Nevermind Ikea, just look at Deviantart.) The rest, though, yeah, good April Fools. You got me to click. :)
