What people reading this article need to understand is that The Mary Sue is a racist, sexist, heterophobic publication that backs causes and makes truth claims based not on whether they're just or true, but whether they're politically expedient or not.

Their support for Jeong but not Gunn was not decided based on their actions, but on their and their target's position on the oppression totem pole. Even overt support for ethnic cleansing is more forgiveable to The Mary Sue than having the audacity to make jokes about the underprivileged while white.

The primary reason people are going out of their way to vote Black Panther down in the first place is because the regressive liberal establishment has appropriated the movie for their own political ends. This is not arbitrary racism - Blade was received warmly enough, this is about countering one political movement with another. If the story is "attacking the score" then they're no better than each other, in fact the "racist trolls" are having far less effect than the SJW trolls.
