Gomes is getting better (although he probably hasn't worked his way off a deserved place o n this list) and has been subject to defensive issues and a change in coach. Now that he has a perm GK coach, things seem better. But notice that most of the issues he's had have come from crosses down his left flank. That's why I voted for BAE.....hate that mofo.

But if we were going to be any band (other than Chaz and Dave) it would be Chumbawumba before they went folk, because you just have no clue what is going to happen on the next song in the album. And they are anarchists and God knows we seem invite the chaos.

In one I am using a translate of a common English phrase (that is used way too much). Is the latter something that is overused in the German language? Or is it just a more appropriate phrase. I will always choose absurdity over logic. Remember I am in a kult :P

Liverpool and Boston, huh? Never been here have you.

First, this is one of the lowest crime rate cities in the US. 2nd we're liberals, not authoritarian communists. Thirds, we win shit now, not 40 years ago. 40 years ago, we couldn't win at any sport in Boston. Fourth, all scousers talk like they have a dick in their mouth. I know one Bostoner that doesn't pronounce his R. Why? Universities. We have all of them. Liverpool has Heroine processing University and that's about it. Also we eat healthier because we have so many medical facilities and biotechs. Type 2 diabetes isn't a birth-right, as in Liverpool, it's a rare disease here. Finally unlike Liverpool, we're rich biatch! One of the wealthiest areas of the country.

So Liverpool is more like some panhandle crap hole. And Boston would be more like a London club.

Oh we haven't killed a bunch of Italians and blamed it on the Italians since Sacco and Vanzentti.

Interesting article, but do you think I like my city being compared to the worst fans in the UK. :p

To be fair, Redknapp bought approximately half of the players on your list ;)

I don't think an overhaul is necessary but the areas that that piece of shit Comolli ignored for 2.5 years will require addressing, such as a DM, a replacement for Ledley and forwards. He will also have to get a replacement for Gomes who is shockingly bad. And BAE wants to leave, so we'll need a LB possibly as Bale is seen as a LM.

So even though he doesn't have to overhaul, he will have to make changes to the squad as we are still in a relegation dogfight.

We can't it seems. I went to a game with a group of MLSers and they shunned me because I like Tottenham. Nevermind that I used to be a season ticket holder and had a shirt none of them could remember. Because I wasn't a season ticket holder now (a choice forced because of the birth of my son) and like to talk about other leagues as well was enough for them to almost want to have a go at me. This is my lasting impression of the MLS.

They have set up and us vs them mentality when there was no need for one and they drive us away from their sport. And to see Kartik doing it, helps nobody.

The world of football isn't just England. Most of these guys know sweet fa about the WORLD of football. Vickery, Marcotti, Doyle and Andy Brassell are the only ones that deserve to be on the list.

When Gray was here doing the Euro's he didn't know a damn thing about any player outside of England.

Comolli told Carrick to fuck off because Zokora was better. He dismantled the core of a team that won 5th twice (which was Arnesen's team) to build an arguably poor squad. I have a lot of doubt to the actual vs perceived talent. He has bought AND SOLD Mido, Murphy, Steed, Chimbonda and Kaboul in 2.5 years. The turnover is incredible. And he forced out a great coach, who he was after two Christmas' ago in order to bring in his guy: Ramos. Ramos, might suck, but Comolli should have known it.

Comolli is completely to blame, with Levy's greedy antics also culpable. We are not stupidnas you would seem to suggest. Just highly attuned to our club. And we understand why we are getting relegated.

Tull played few games for us and was dropped and eventually sold because of the uproar over a black player. So we did the right thing and then chickened out. He is a very interesting person and I believe there is a movie being made about his life.

And don't worry about Spurs. They deserve this misery for what they did to Jol. The fans don't though.

I consider it my fault anyway. St. Pauli's in the 2nd division. Cadiz is in the 3rd. Why should Spurs be spared demotion. Although to be fair, Spurs don't have the same awesome friendly fans that made me love St. Pauli and Cadiz. Most of their fans can be quite spiteful and hateful. So if nice guys finish last, then Spurs should survive this season

I just have this feeling he's going to have a blinder against Russia and everyone is going to wake up to how good he is.

The downside of that, of course, is that over in the EPL, Arsenal, City, United all have money and need a keeper. And any hope that Hughes might miss the highlights is screwed because he'll be watching the bloody Wales game :( Although maybe the credit crunch will keep him in our favorite league :)

Now I want to know who it was. I don't think it's Spurs. Although we have some debt, it's been widdled down significantly since Sugar. But our chances of a new stadium are done and dusted. Not that we will need a bigger WHL in the Coca Cola.
