I wouldn't can it, but keep it in glass jars. I had to give away most of that almond milk. The cake recipe is actually from Sweet Gratitude raw dessert book.

Re: LOVINGRAW: Raw Food Community - Blog - A Raw Parenting Journey

Thank you for being such an amazing support and example of LOVE!

Re: LOVINGRAW: Raw Food Community - Blog - A Raw Parenting Journey

Thanks Debbie, Glad that our journey could touch you in some way. I started keeping a gratitude journal a few months ago and would pull it out especially when I was faced with something unpleasant. It has been really powerful to watch how easily I can shift my vibration. Keep up the good work, it definitely pays off!

Re: Au lac!

I thought you were there! Too bad I didn't get to meet you. The dishes are "Fried Chicks" and Rice, Curried Rice, Laksa Soup, Donut Holes (my fav also) and raw chocolate candies. Hopefully now you can make it back for some more of Ito's delicious food.

Re: Meetup THIS Saturday...

oh yeah, what time does it start?

Re: Meetup THIS Saturday...

Yippee. I would love to meet you. Just went to Au Lac last night, so the budget may be too tight for thee prix-fixe, but we will see if I can join the usual antics afterwards.

Re: Having "The Talk"

I think your intuition knew what to do. We can tell in a few seconds if someone wants to know more or not. You probably had the instinct that she wants a quick fix, and this glorious lifestyle change just wouldn't make sense to her right now. I was asked in my class how I get my nutrients....I said "from my food". Seriously, do people think nutrients come vacuum sealed in diet coke cans and baked into wonder bread?

Re: Fall Detox Time

yes! I just wrote that then hopped onto UC Berkeley's jobs page- they have my job posted. The one I do know pretty much to a T. I have been doing yoga through video since I was 13 and finally had my first live yoga class last week. Mind you this was in the new rec center at the school I work at and the instructor tripped me out with her burgundy highlights and acrylic nails to match. But she ended up being a great instructor and super sweet. The yoga places down here are pretty expensive and the scheduling isn't the best for me so my little gym yoga works perfect right now. Still you are making me want to move to Berkeley.
