Right now when we deploy all the code is sucked out of a public repro, I assume that was a problem most users were experiencing. It would suck to have to go to all our machines and tell them hit up an alternative repo. Any thoughts on how to be avoid that using the distributed nature of git?

Re: A Horse Head in My Bank Account

Sorry man that sucks. I think it has some really interesting ideas and I am interested to see how it evolves in the future.

Re: Magnus Holm - It's a Gash, Gash, Gash

Very cool, looks like this could be useful. Does anyone know if something similar exists for SVN as I think I would have to support both SVN and Git for my project.

Re: Las Vegas Baby

Sorry man that sucks... I tend to go over the top sometimes as well, and have been working to be better at that. Anyways I get why it sucks to be 'missing out' when others are partying.

Re: Startups, Startups Everywhere

Sorry for the double post.. I also recommend an email list / Google group per city. Sounds like a good project to be involved with.

Re: Startups, Startups Everywhere

Nice work Micah... I didn't know you guys were working on starting this up. SpringStage sounds interesting, and like it could be a good way to help create communities. Besides the Blog, Lijit, and ID I think setting up a email list / Google group for each city would be a good idea. I don't think I would have time to become hugely involved, but think I might be able to help by becoming a local contributor.

Re: TechStars Shine

Thanks for the analysis. It is great to have someone break it down a bit more than just stating the teams' goals. Thanks for the vote of confidence in our tech and nerd skills. We will have to work hard on filling some business gaps. As we get a bit further we will be looking to find ways to become as engaged with the developer community as we can, we will certainly seek your advice in this area.

Try not to eat too much more sushi in Seattle...
