It's debatable as to who is the better team, but NYC and MSG has been a second home to Pitt in the last decade, whereas we'll have a home court advantage on the Terps.

In the long run it really doesn't matter though -- both will crush us into the ground.

Re: Bawa Muniru: One handsome man

A reference to the Gorilla man at AH(?):

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123612655303924...

4th graf

Re: Upset bid foiled: Hoosiers fall 64-59

Ah, so close. So damn close. The put-back by Morgan was an awesome heads-up play on his part and sealed the game for MSU. Did the #1 team survive? A Hoosier throwing elbows [showing angle of Dumes' elbow to Suton's nuts], and a coach in tears [Nebraska over Texas]."

The WWL is definitely gonna try to make a bigger story of this than it probably should be. Oh well.

Re: Hoosier loss overshadowed by Dumes’ shenanigans

Not like losing Dumes is going to be a blow to our NCAA tourney chances or anything. Crean can't afford to let this happen without punishment in his first year or it'll reflect poorly on the upcoming years. I'd sit him out for the Minnesota game but allow him to return next weekend for Illinois. Talk with him and tell him he needs to cut the shit or he'll be right back on the bench.

Re: Good, Bad and Ugly: Iowa

Great freakin' call on the win. He was able to keep the OSU defense honest and allowed our outside shooters some very open looks as well as being accountable for some points on his own -- Taber just isn't the same in there.

Re: Good, Bad and Ugly: Lipscomb

Not sure if you guys saw this yet, but Kipp Schutz is most likely done with the hoops team:

http://hoosier-town.com/2008/12/28/schutz-is-pe...

Re: Know Thy Opponent: Wake Forest Demon Deacons

I'm confident in the ability of our guards to play good defense on Teague. I'm most likely being overly optimistic but it's not worth it to be down on this team for the whole season.

Re: Q & A: L. This year'll be a struggle but there is certainly plenty of optimism in the near future IMO.
