I think this is probably one of the better episodes of a young first season. It seemed to be more tightly written and it felt like everything is beginning to gel a little bit more.

I would definitely disagree that this was better than last year's episodes. This show seemed to be very choppy and not very funny at all. I barely laughed at any point in watching this particular episode.

Yeah - this episode was fantastic. I literary cried because I was laughing so hard - oh man. This redeemed itself from the previous episode.

Thanks Cap'n. It was a good show - a nice way to launch a series. I like that Abram's is involved, because it is similar to LOST in the sense that it has a cinematic, film-like quality to it. I didn't feel like I was watching a tv show last night, I felt like I was watching a movie.

I think you lose the impact of the show as well as the emotional connection with the characters in the show when you watch them on DVD - back-to-back. There is something to be said for having to "suffer" the wait.
