Picked up this garden flag from CRW Flags in Glen Burnie when we were back in the area a couple weeks ago. Had to add magnetic weights to the bottom to handle the Washoe Zephyr (I hope).

Sad news from the weekend, overshadowed by other events.

Lake Tahoe gets its share of storms throughout the year, but rarely like this. An unusually cold front triggered not only snow, but a squall that caused 8- to 10-foot waves. A 27-foot boat was swamped, resulting in six people dead and two others missing and likely also killed. 😔
