I like ties...used to wear them all the time...now, not so much. But that knot looks cool. Thought you would get a kick out of it...you probably get it in a second with how great you are at knitting and stitching.

Re: I’m Going to Start Tying the Merovingian Knot on My Ties

My husband learned how to do a Windsor knot a few years ago and I had no idea that there were so many ways to tie a knot on a tie. I think it's fascinating.

Re: Michael Jackson Is Dead and I Don’t Care

Moni, I know what you mean. I was crazy into Thriller, but that child molestation stuff makes me nuts and I actively hated him. I know some freinds will be mad, but I can deal with it. The media acts like the child molestation stuff was incidental because he was talented...I cannot every fathom that.

Re: Michael Jackson Is Dead and I Don’t Care

Great video! And great points, too Frank. I think your so right. He was slaughtered in the media for being a child molester and now it's like the media is doing this revisionist history thing. I can't get myself worked up over his death either. I always thought he was a slime bag and hated him and his music after Thriller. (I do think Thriller is a great album, but that doesn't mean I have respect for MJ. I just like the album).

Frankly, I'm not surprised he lived this long. I seriously thought he would die a lot sooner than this. I think it's time the media move onto more important things.

Thanks for letting me vent here. I wanted to say something like this on my own blog but I have friends that read my blog that like MJ and don't want to offend them. I'm glad I'm able to get out my thoughts :)

Re: Congratulations, Matt

Congratulations to Matt!

Re: My Waste of a Life, According to a Guy Who I Didn’t Even Know but Thought It Was Okay to Tell Me on My Deck One Sunny Afternoon

The nerve! I was initially hesitant. There's a whole ceremony about eating it. There were little blades of chives to put in the middle, then some kind of sauce. I let it roll around on my toungue -- I wanted to get a sense of the flavor. It was tasty. The strips are very very thin, so it's easy to handle.

Really a fun experience. Now I'll go back to toro.

Re: Fugu, It’s What’s for Dinner

awesome!
