...Huh. I don't think that Donate button is in bad taste at all. The way you've incorporated it in to that bar there...it looks professional and subtle. I've been toying with the idea of adding a 'donate' button to my site (my site's still pretty new, so I wouldn't do it yet - but maybe in a few months) and so I've been looking at people's sites to see how they incorporate their buttons in to their site - and yeah, I think yours is very well done. Your button pops out because it's orange-on-grey, but it doesn't pop out obnoxiously (partly because your whole site seems to have an 'orange and grey' colour scheme) - it looks like it belongs there.

You could maybe get rid of your current header and then just have the massive comic strip run across the top of the screen...and then stuff all this comment/blog stuff underneath it?
I've never seen a site that looked like that, so...it would be different, at least.

Either way, since I'm here, I might as well say that I love your strips, heh heh. After the Perry Bible Fellowship died, I went looking across the 'net for strips that might be as creative and yeah, your stuff more than fits the bill. Keep up the great work !
