That's where my gravatar was taken. Astounding location and scenery. We took a side trail and ended up getting lost in the forests for a few hours. We found some really old shrines during our wanderings and ended up in some community in the middle of nowhere. When we asked how to get back to Kyoto, they just laughed at us! As always you hit the nail directly on the head. Why the heck stick around for the bad times, and leave when things start to get good! The dollar is bad, but most of the worlds currency is even worse right now. If you are American, now is the time to travel!
