Thank you Demoulas Family for creating the spark that has started a NATIONAL discussion of workers vs rich shareholders. In the last 2 decades companies have solely focused on what's best for shareholder., while ignoring customers and employees. There are new words to describe customers and employees in the USA... we are now "marks" and "tools" Companies only objective now is to use their tools to extract $ from the marks.

there are also part timers that are poor seniors supplementing their social security, or mothers earning extra $ to feed their kids. What fantasy world do you live in that if you can just go apply and get a better paying job. You're obviously not in the job market.

I love how NH only taxes people that own property. It's their own welfare system.....renters pay no taxes, and home owners subsidize them.

NH should change the state moto to "Live free or Die....unless you own property"

There's no photo op there. Remember when the mayor was in the paper with the pictures of all the graffiti in Lafayette Square ? He said he was going to clean that up too....but the truth is it's worse now than ever....after the mayor's photo-op and the story in the Trib, nothing was done. Now the Lafayette Square graffiti is creeping up Broadway with gang tags on people's fences, property, and a nice 3' x 8' (yes large) drawing on the wall coming down Broadway into the square.

What a joke....... it's amazing that Massachusetts can afford to give a 25% transferable tax CREDIT to get them to film here. Washington and Columbia won't do a thing for Haverhill....they're only here because Mass pays them to be here...period!
