I wish to point out that text is more SEO friendly than video. So even if you post a video, you need to include some text in your post.
Use videos to complement what you are saying, to bring a topic or to document an event. It works great for quick interviews. Keep your videos under 2 minutes but aim for 1:30 minutes. It needs to be short for people to watch them.

Re: http://yellowgoat.tumblr.com/post/125585245

I am looking forward to see the movie. Coco accomplished so much in her life. She is an inspiration.

Re: Bombay Sapphire goes to Le Local

The drinks and the cocktail bites were delicious. People should really prepare the Rouleau de prosciutto et tomates when they have guests over this summer.

Re: Is RSS Reading Dead?

My first sentence should have been: First of all, all blogs are not about news.

One last thing. Some used to claim that Twitter will kill the blog. In fact, they complement each other. I do not think the RSS will die any day soon.

Re: Is RSS Reading Dead?

First of all, all blogs are now about news. Being on Twitter informs me on a subset of must-see newspaper articles or blog posts to read. For big news, Twitter is handy to stay current on the news event. But they are only a subset and you must be in front of your screen to spot them. Not really a good way to spend your time.

Plus, I read mostly design and cooking blogs. Since I wish to be my own judge of which are the best posts, Goggle Reader is more efficient to see what going on all the blogs I am in interested with.

Re: Your personal mindspace

I wish you good luck with your lunch writing dates.

Re: Praized is finalist in Red Herring Top 50 Canadian Startups

I am so glad for Praized. I am member of an informal tourism group. I relayed your post to the group. It makes great food for thought.

Re: Watermelon Margarita

That must be so refreshing. I have to try this out. Maggie, have you try with several types of tequila? Is it like a regular margarita where the silver tequila tastes the best?

Re: Blog Hack: Link to New Blogs and Get More Readers

technorati helped me to find new bloggers. Do not underestimate the power of other bloggers blogroll. Check out the unfamiliar names and after going further down the line you may discover a new track of bloggers. Check who commented on these new blogs. Exploring bloggers from other countries is another of my tactic.
