This looks fantastic but I was wondering what your thoughts were on adding local file storage.
Its obviously not cloud storage but it would mean the one library could handle all types of file upload.

I have used PayPal several times for e-commerce applications and so far I have never experienced problems. PayPal offer some decent products and good rates so its hard to dismiss them as a good choice.

Given the large number of issues they seem to have I am sure I will experience problems at some point, I just hope its not bad enough to put me off them because at the moment I do like their simplicity.

I agree that you may want an accountant if someone doesn't know how or doesn't want to do it themselves or when there is enough work for it to become a burden but I disagree with the statement "you’ll need an accountant".

Why?
Standard accounting software will generate all the reports that need to be submitted to companies house and the hmrc.

After reading that line I expected the article to tun into an advertisement for Crunch but I was pleased to see it didn't.

Hi, thanks for trying it out. The extension doesn't affect the actual .tel addresses displayed on the webpage, instead it displays a .tel icon in the address bar which you can click on.
Making the the .tel addresses hoverable or clickable is something I may add to a future version.
Please report back if you have any other problems.

Surely this is nothing new, data has to be sent back for the auto suggest feature to work and if you select the Google search option the queries will obviously be saved.
As for the second point thats just Google keeping a record of installations something I am sure many companies do, as long as you don't choose the usage statistics option no personal or usage data will be sent.

From the carriers point of view converting to VoIP should be a good option as they can focus on building one network that will support all types of media, not just voice or not just data.
VoIP PBX's in the home and in offices will become more common but because of the potential for ENUM to reduce the costs of calls to zero the telcos may not be very proactive in promoting the system.
