Wall Street ignores the gain. The company can't put the gain into the pocket of its management. So it just doesn't matter very much."

This is a great point. Having a unique and exciting feature or benefit for each of the communities is something key to increasing traffic and destination. I imagine that this could be something to incorporate into a work plan as justification for needed funding. These types of features and benefits could happen internally or through partnerships, much like Facebook and others do. Then, you could ultimately look for ways to monetize around these key items that keep people coming back. Just my thoughts.

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Ode to the cre8Buzz Departed,

Jackal,

You are absolutely correct. It was hard to read, but the truth
hurts. Having multiple communities, in essence, puts us in
competition with all the other single focused vertical communities,
cre8Buzz photos with flicker, cre8Buzz Moms with Cafe Moms etc,
etc. This is clearly a HUGE weakness despite it's advantages, as we
are unable to do many of the things they do, better or just as
well. Moving forward we will need to find away to address this.

Thanks Jackal. Great feedback.

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Ode to the cre8Buzz Departed,

I'm hearin' a lot 'bout it being a summer thing also. We have had years of an inflexiable President who refuses to readdress his positions, regardless of new information. We need, in our next President, the commitment to show flexibility. We cant afford another rigid, idealistic leader with an agenda.

I concur with you on your desire to have Obama change his position on trade. It is a global economy. Also, I am not a fan of his tax policy and definition of "rich". Although people making 250k to 500k are doing very well, I would not consider them rich. Especially the younger generation, who have just achieved this earning level Also, increasing capital gains, to me is as aburd as Bush privatizing social security.

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Opportunities

Ah Crunchy, ya speak the word! We have gotten a lot of feedback about
emphasizing the content. There used to be monthly
writing assignments, and photography assignments. These were started
and managed by the members. But to have a set of collaboration tools
is a GREAT idea.

Thanks Leo!

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: User Feedback

Great suggestions Quirkee, thanks. Or more importantly, where should we focus. Is there a
place for cre8Buzz to play? Where does our opportunity lie?

What do you think Quirkee?

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Opportunities

Leo,

Yes, we see NIng in this area as a big competitor. We believe the
centralization and structure of the buzz brings more value however
ex: Ning could have 100 biking communities that never overlap or
share info. Ning does a very poor job of what we call crossbuzz.
The communities are disconnected and lack continuity. This can be
exploited. good point

yes, we are starting to hear that. We have had some good suggestions
on how to fix. We believe the buzzrank has lots of value. We may
need to reconsider how we deploy it. Ex: no longer rating profiles,
also differentiating between original and non-original content

Thanks Leo, great points.

Thoughts on where YOU think the buzz can go? Where we are
positioned well?

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: cre8Buzz 2008 Goals

finally got it done.... http://annoyinglyboring.com/go-to-cre8buzzcom-n...

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Opportunities

Good ideas Piper. Post's like The Spoon Theory have risen to the top
despite their author being relatively unknown. Maybe we take away
the profile ranking and only have the content ranking.

If we determine the ranking of content does NOT bring value, we need
to take a hard look at our plan. Being another social network won't
carry the day. Too little, too late for that I'm afraid.

Re: cre8Buzz Re-Do: Execution

we need people on the team with Web 2.0 and social media expertise, we need Online advertising experience, and we need Sr. Technical experience, the boys have good ideas, we're creative, but implementing and executing is where we fall down.
