I think this movie suits his style a bit more, it's always been a somewhat dark film.

I think Sci-Fi already did a great remake. I know, weird... Sci-Fi, back when it had some decent programing. Children of Dune was also rather excellent.

I disagree with all of you. What the hell were the plants about? It was like a "SY FY" movie you watch because nothing else is on. Just play the Killer Mosquitoes 3 again... way better then deadly plants.

I'll be honest. I've only heard of 2 of these movies. I'm looking forward to Zombieland and I'll eventually see Michael Moore's movie (but why, we won! heh.) Sure... Toy Story 2 in 3D... good for them. I'm not a big TV person but the lack of advertising is seriously detrimental to the success of these films. They aren't summer blockbusters though, we are in the lull for several more months.

Wow... the original looks awesome. It's posts like this that bring me here sometimes. I'm always looking for counter-culture movies from the past. I wonder where that priest got the idea to set himself on fire? I wonder... The trailer for the new one looks pretty good as well. You guys really need to have a section on old movies.
