Solution to error 3 (cannot detect CD), What worked for me:

When you right-click on the file you wish to run with VDMsound, there are two VDMsound options; one with a note-icon and one without. When running tieauto.exe pick the option WITH the note and when running tie.exe pick the one WITHOUT.
If i pick the note-option on both files I get error three, when I do as described above everything works perfectly and it is soooo sweet.
