I've never wished to see spousal abuse or even "fake" spousal abuse in a drama before, but I'd really enjoy seeing this teacher slap his former student just once. With it, perhaps she'll snap out of her delirium. And yes, he gets on my nerves too with his lack of assertiveness allowing this whole mess to happen.

In almost every drama I watch, a character is written as if there is no one else in the world. Why must they pursue a person they know doesn't like them in return? This drama has two who are willing to murder others they perceive who are in their way.

Initially, I thought it was their "foreplay" since neither can be in the army anymore. LOL

But as the episode played out, I got more and more annoyed with Ying. She demanded that Ni become the Crown Prince or she wouldn't marry him. She wanted to play that game, she was so sure of herself. Then her father accidentally sent that report. Most of Ni's unit was murdered. His heart was shattered just like she predicted and he gave in.

But what she didn't know is that if he didn't bring back her father, she would have been killed.

Now she wants to kill him. ??

No one sees what the couple is doing, so how can they be play acting for their enemies?

I see you watched this over two months ago. I'll have my answers in a few minutes. 😂

"It seems she actually did fall in love with Zhang Zhe at first sight... and probably knowing he was everything good and honorable that she wasn't at the time made her fall for him even more. I think in the second life we just see her fawning over him and are not convinced."
