What do you think is the best way to "meet" new people who might be of interest? I search for common terms, and look at other tweets @s to interesting discussions.

Man that would be a blast. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it is my 4 year wedding anniversary, so I will not be going out solo.

I have the exact same problem with my mouse. I have to clean the scroll ball every other week so it works. Thanks for the tip re: the Logitech mouse. I will look for it.

definitely lost 30 or so followers - taking a quick glance all the bots or spammers are gone ie. leslie345. looks as if some of the people I was following are gone as well from 140 is to 108. didn't realize until I read your post.

did you already clean up your blog? comments, posts, search, site tags, about you are all kind of necessary, no? twitter has become important as well. you can't really drop your sponsor, or your company. maybe MyBlogLog? looks like Jack doesn't even have comments available!

Max, all great comments. You made me think about my own situation. We are going to go with my brother in law (and my best friend), godfather to our eldest and his wife for guardian, with back-up being another best friend. Neither have kids yet, but love our sons and have the same values we do.

My father's executor and trustee are one in the same - a very good college friend who runs a private bank. i would definitely not give either position to a family member, but a trusted friend who is in the industry and can make educated decisions. my mother is going through it with her mother's estate and it is not that pretty.

i guess i have to get on the ball and do this as well, since our second is already 6 weeks!

Congrats on the funding. Getting money when you do not need it is always the best. I am going to play around with Seesmic this weekend. I think it will be a great way for my parents (in MI and Italy) to see their two grandsons once a week.

My list is about the same save for a few additions and subtractions of services I do not use (Wordpress, Meebo, Mint - not yet at least).

Intelecare.com (FD the company I work for). We provide medical reminders via email, text and voice messaging as a free services to patients and caregivers. We also license our technology to industry as a hosted or enterprise solution.

Twitter has become a fantastic tool to stay abreast of what people are doing and researching (following a handful of Forrester researchers, media types like you, Health 2.0 leaders, etc...).

Google (Gmail, Blogger, AdWords, Search)

LinkedIn, Jigsaw, Facebook

siteanalytics.compete.com

FoodTV.com (Food Network site to look up recipes), Epicurious.com & Saveur.com (recipes but not as thorough).

I do a lot of health and wellness research, and use some interesting sites for facts: Kasier Family Foundation: kff.org and statehealthfacts.org; hhcfoundation.org, charitynavigator.org, chcf.org - not for everyone though unless you want to get depressed about the state of healthcare in the US.

I read a lot of blogs more than news sites - is that irresponsible?

Max - just had our second boy 4 weeks ago. We wanted to find out for practical reasons - ie. do we need to change anything in the nursery, do we have to get new clothes, etc... We did not plan on having a second child so close to the first (15 months) but now can't imagine it any other way. He came two weeks early, in the early morning, so I was out the next day buying diapers, new car seat, etc.... I felt like an amateur, but now it is second nature.
