It is precisely this open skepticism about lack of fundamentals that keeps the market going up. The day Zero Hedge capitulates the next the downward market correction will begin.

molecool Have to agree with Dino - this game works both ways. As long as everyone keeps complaining about the irrationality of this rally it will continue. And that's coming from a staunch bear, folks - you know where to find me.

Can anyone explain how we can have a 120+ point drop on the Dow and financials unchanged?

anon Because it's freaking rigged. goldman, geithner and the fed, and the rest off the tarp money banks (citi, bac, wfc) all f@cking love each other now; they jerk each other off every single day and they can't get enough of it.
deadhead financials and the broad markets have been out of tandem fairly often over the past 7 or 8 months. i trade fas/faz alot as well as sso/sds or bgu/bgz. this is not uncommon.

Sorry I meant the Adam Hewison’s video on whether we’re having a “Bear Market Rally… or Serious Reversal.” that you posted below.

The answer is TBT.

Corey, do you still maintain that we are in the zone for a down leg on SPX and other indeces? The INO analysis of last Friday shows we are almost there.

Corey:

Do you agree with this chart below? i.e. that we are more likely to move closer to SPX 670 before we resume upward trend?

Is UVU a good buy at this level?

in Landon Donovan Joins Bayern Munich on Champions League Talk
The playing chances he will get will be minimal. No club as big as Bayern tends to rely on temporary services for any key position. The way I see it is that this is a good opportunity for Landon to keep fit within a state-of-the-art organization and be ready to enter MLS in good form.

in Are the English sides once again the teams to avoid in the next round of the Champions League? on Champions League Talk
English clubs are tough opponents; no doubt about it.

Kevin not so sure about that Dean and others, Chelsea wasn't that convincing in their group stage run and something tells me Arsenal will begin to crack. Finally Man United isn't the same team that won the 2008 title, Cristiano Ronaldo looks ready to step off that ship and soon and personally I hope he does just to piss Sir Fergie right -off.

in Champions League Group B Preview on Champions League Talk
It looks like the decisive game would be between Anorthosis and Panathinaikos; the winner advances. In any event Anorthosis under Ketspaya is a very good footballing team and has been the surprise of the UEFA Champions League Group B. Bravo Anorthosis and bravo for the cypriot football. Excellent job!

o.k. Panayiotis, it seems you got it right. Best luck to all the Anorthosis fans and club. You deserve it!

I would not be surprised to see Panathinaikos second or above. Ten Kate is doing a good job.
