in What’s the best deal in the UK for £30 a month? on Mobile Industry Review
I have selected a Nokia E71 on a H3G X-Series bundle with unlimited 3G data as my primary GSM account. This combined with excellent WiFi coverage in the office and at home (over which I route inbound and outbound voice/SMS) mean that I rarely manage to come anywhere near my maximum limits.
I also find that I am using the H3G Skype-to-Skype calling more and more; this is in practice a free (untariffed) mobile to mobile call (subject to AUP of 4000 minutes per month).

in Mobile Industry Review Show - Episode 27 on Mobile Industry Review
This episode does not appear to have made it's way out on iTunes (my preferred way of consumption).
Is it going to make it in the near future?

in Mobile Industry Review Show - Episode 22 on Mobile Industry Review
Superb as ever - the creative tension between the telephonic trio is compelling.
The bit where Dan received his T-shirt (thank goodness the boys chose the right colour) was quite moving - there was a tear of joy in his eye!
The biggest accolade has to go to Ewan - who must has given up hours of his Bank Holiday weekend to edit out all the giggling and naughty words!!

in Friday homework on Mobile Industry Review
I would think that you have two main options here:
1. Nokia N71 with H3G (possibly on pre-paid initially) - on GBP 5 per month unlimited 3G data, using Truphone for calls in/out over WiFi/3G when away from WiFi
2. iPhone 3G on O2 with MobilMe push email and phone sync over O2 3G.
Comments?

Yeah I like the second option there, Patrick. Think about the power of

in Grrr - I hate Truphone’s Facebook application on Roger Kondrat - Online Communicator
I have the Truphone Facebook application working fine in Mozilla, MS IE and Opera!
Perhaps a short e-mail to the amazingly attentive and effective support@truphone.com outlining your configuration and problems would be beneficial both for you and for Truphone?

Hi James
I know it is what baffles me that I can't seem to get it to work and I even removed it on Facebook and re-added it but to no avail.
One of these days I may ask Truphone but more than likely I really won't make that effort to contact someone for help because when it comes to facebook if an application doesn't work I can't be bothered.
Thanks for dropping by.

in Unlimited Drinks London: Thanks for coming on Mobile Industry Review
Another excellent SMS Text News event!
I don't now why, but there is something really comforting about arriving and being greeted by Ewan staning in the hallway dressed (despite the heat) in his trademark pin stripe suit!
Thank you Ewan (and team) for a superb quality evening of networking.

I concur with you Luca - Andy is a star without whom the universe would be a much darker and less exciting place.
Thanks for all the experiences that you helped me to enjoy over the last 2 weeks!
