Al Gore is a revolting douche bag. Who cares what he thinks. The fact of the matter is most people wouldn't want to spend 5 mins with Al let alone what his opinion is.

He got into Harvard because of his father, became a senator because of his father, watched his sister die of lung cancer while he owned a tobacco farm, rode in on Clinton's coat tails as VP and .... couldn't close the deal against a guy that can barely utter a complete sentence.

He makes the entire world feel guilty for burning a candle while he flies on his private jet and lives in a 10Ksf house. Bush meanwhile lives in a house that recycles its water, uses a heat pump, employs solar panels, etc. Gore? Happy to be burning that great TN coal! I guess he's gotta keep his blubber ridden ass warm.

Did I mention his wife censored! your favorite music? Apparently she didn't like songs like Penguins in Bondage by Frank Zappa et al.

Albert T. Gore III Penguins in Bondage is not MY favorite music, pal. So speak for yourself.

And let me tell you something. My wife is HOTT. In bed!!! Talk about a penguin in bondage!!! grrrrrrwwwwooooow!!!

Al Gore is nothing more than a phoney pompus bore. Nobody wants him a president. He couldn't even defeat an idiot like George Bush when he came in on Clinton's coat tails.

What's next the John Kerry/Al Gore ticket? Ticket to loserville maybe.

Noam is a total fucking moron, the type that couldn't possibly be employed anywhere but in a university so please shut the fuck up. The rest of us are trying to making a god damn buck or two and don't want to listen to some piece of shit on the govenment dole telling us how to live our lives. In other words please shut the fuck up.

FakeNoamChomsky That's a considerable amount of invective considering I merely observed that all the candidates basically serve the status quo. I know a thing or two about language as well as politics so I'm qualified to note that your post is badly constructed, poorly reasoned, rife with non sequitur, and factually incorrect. I also know a thing or two about universities and I think you could benefit from attending one if you'd attempt to listen and learn.

yes you dip shit I'm defending both Grasso and Hank. What do you want to do limit someone's income? Do something "fair"? The only people who say they want this are poor losers and gov't officials who only want votes anyway.

With limits on imcome you wouldn't have Steve Jobs let alone the Beastmaster himself - Gates.

AG is an insurance company douche bag - have you heard of them before? The "shit bag" he took down built the company by hand and ran it for 40 years. Have you tried something like that before? He employeed thousands of well paid people. Have you considered that before?

Mr. St. Spitzer on the other hand used state police to harrass his republican opponent in the next election, who in potentially incredible irony, will be his prosecuter if he is impeached, threatened and intimidated hundreds of decent people, ran around like he had no accountability and that's how we ended up where we are.

Say what you want about the bankers (sorry Henry) but most of the people he went after did little to nothing wrong.

Grasso was overpaid, that was a crime worth destroying him over?

lastangelman AG is short for Attorney General, have you heard of that, boonie?
BTW, why is it the Republicans can get their shit together to impeach a diddler, but the Democrats have no balls to remove the biggest criminals that have ever inhabited the Executive Branch? Oh, right, Pelosi, doesn't want to lose her job in the house to become Acting President 'til Obama is sworn in .... RESIGN BITCH!RESIGN!
richardmnixon's picture
richardmnixon By "AG," I meant Attorney General, but if you're referring to AIG and the $1.64 billion settlement they paid for widespread deceptive business practices, I don't think I'd want to defend Hank Greenberg, whose arrogance and egomania far exceeds Spitzer's (which is definitely saying something), and who probably barely escaped comparable ignominy. And are you actually defending Grasso, the very symbol of Wall Street excess (whom few people rush to defend)?

He ruined a lot of good people and a very few that truely desereved it. I feel sorry for his wife and especially his 3 daughters all of whom are teenagers.

richardmnixon Oh, yeah, those pump-and-dump investment banks and guys like Henry Blodget were Bambies in the woods whom "steamroller" Spitzer squashed for no reason. The only cynical thing about his activities as AG was that he settled most of these cases instead of taking these shits to trial, and you could make a practicality argument in favor of that, especially since the SEC was sitting on its ass.

in Vista now even more of a bargain on The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs
Ah no Dude. Lots and lots of problems with the "it just works" OS. I get so tired of the Apple BS club. You do two things with your computer and all of them start with "i". It isn't really like using a platform based system.

Not as boring as you I think its more that fucktard 3rd party application writers can't get their shit together to revise their software to work with the much distributed application kits prior to the release of the new version of the OS.

The point here, Microtard, is that the entire MS OS is bjorked, out of the box! I'm running Leoptard out of the box, no problemo at all on all my boxes.

I can't get that piece-o-shit Vista to even run properly in a VMware container. Nice thing is that I can point and click the fucker straight into the trashcan.

Don't hold your breath, the guy in charge now, Steve Sinofsky is no fool. There's an excellent chance the next version will actually work.

IBM X61S - better than Air. 9 hour battery life, replaceable battery, touch point, LAN connection...
anonymous I bought the dell d430 over that laptop because I couldnt live without wide screen and dell was cheaper back then...

IBM X61S is 12.1 standard screen. You are right that pretty damn similar in footprint with the mac.

If you arn't inter office mailing your mac or have a tight bookshelf as storage I dont know why you would need a thinner one than the IBM.

So I guess multi touch gestures and a slightly better video card and slicker appearance are worth $600 assuming you dont need any of the ITish features...

Don't worry boys - she's not going to get elected because she is just plain not very likeable. And likeable counts a lot. Further she comes across as willing to say anything to get a vote and that's not real. Even women don't like her (but would vote for her because she's a women. I guess it is OK to do that if you aren't a man). She's not even hot to top it all off.

Also, please don't compare what happened with Margaret Thatcher to Hillary. MT kicked ass and would have been elected in the US in 2 minutes. And she would have run as a republican and wouldn't be proposing 15 new federal agencies all designed to "help" us. She refered to her staff of men as meat and they didn't have any qualms about it.

If Stallman was sucking on the public teet of MIT he'd never be able to make his idiotic statements. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if he actually had to work for a real company that had to make a product and sell it so it could stay in business and feed it's employees.
