I admire Primer - Timecrimes is the 'better' film - in the traditional sense - but Primer has that oozy, creepy feeling you often get from fillmmakers who make just one film - know what I mean?

will have to check up on when the UK/Ireland release for this is out. On the subject of the modern day Iraq war filma (mentioned in the latest podcast) - did either of you catch Battle for Haditha? - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870211/
It was on at last year's Dublin Film Festival - I never saw the whole thing, but from what I did see, it did a good job of telling this story.
Ps.. got a new TV from amazon last night - set it up, turned it on only to see this; http://hiddenloop.com/images/broken.jpg

May I offer some advice? If there's a way to return the TV and get your money back, I'd do it. I discovered Amazon sells re-furbished TVs from other sources, not new ones (or, often times not new ones).
Mine "broke" within a week. I discovered it was likely refurbished and talked Amazon into taking it back, which they did. About a month later a guy from St Louis called me -- he had bought my TV (the reason he knew was my note inside the box explaining the problem was still in the box...and the TV had the same problem!).
Sorry for the non-film post, just trying to help a fellow TFT listener out.
