I was the 'Jon' who was in there. No problem because I was running on empty too; in fact, I still am, so the WordPress upgrade [which was what I was picking your tired brains about] will just stay in a holding pattern until (i) I print the detailed instructions at my office [no toner here] and (ii) the weekend rolls around.
Seeing as I canned flakey PayPal and so still haven't donated to the much deserved server fund, I figured I shouldn't abuse my ever-obliging but tired host :-)

Lovely post - grace (the middle name of one of our girls) is a virtue that is in short supply these days. I try to espouse the same via a more Buddhist karma-oriented route.

There's nothing like that twice daily ride to bracket the working day - the energiser ride in the morning to greet a new day and the homeward-bound wind-down to transit from work to personal time.
Work/life balance is something that needs constant attention otherwise things can get get of whack pretty quick. Take it from me, it has taken me 15 years, two separations, a major career change and I'm still working at it every day.

Move to NZ. We find the folks friendly and more courteous than the UK and the US - even when the country's electronic payment network crashed and they needed 90 mins to reset all the servers yesterday!
