Ryan_Btown As great as that sounds, I have a feeling we could talk to him for 20 years and in the 21st year, we'd still be doing just that...talking. Why not take a chance on a young guy that seems to do well with whatever he can get his hands on? I heard about a midwest program doing that in the 70's and I believe it worked out fairly well for them...

in Will Jamarcus Ellis return on Friday? on Inside the Hall
We need this guy to win he keep our players from making stupid decisions outside the three point line and gets 8 boards a game he is a very important part of this Hoosier team

in Eric Gordon: Perception vs. reality on Inside the Hall
If you watch the NBA you would know they call a foul almost everytime a player drives the lane......and if EJ ends up as an average player in the NBA its going to be because he got injured or never had the oppurtunity but hes going to get the oppurtunity so he is going to be an all star someday

JC FLA Eric Gordan is the next Jameer Nelson...10.5 points/game, 3 rebounds/game, 9 turnovers/game and an average of 6 of his shots blocked/game.

His numbers this year are impressive but without the help of the Big Ten conference player of the year in DJ White he wouldn't be where he is statisically.

in Eric Gordon: Perception vs. reality on Inside the Hall
I love the idea of Mr. Crawford taking over i think he is smarter with the ball his turnover come off of not catching passes and dribbling off his foot and stuff just weird stuff he doesnt try and fit passes in where they cant be fit and can score just as well
1 reply
Jerry I really like Crawford too. He has good body control, seems to try to do what he is asked to do and best of all he has that Magic Johnson "half smirk half smile" when he makes a play either a good one or a bad one. He CARES !

I keep suspecting his flair for the game could bloom into something very entertaining. Maybe even as good as Tom Coverdale .

in Terrell Holloway seeks release from LOI on Inside the Hall
Just wondering if you have watched Jordan or Ellis play this year Ellis is the glue to this team and since the first few games crawford might have just been are 3rd best player down the stretch he doesnt turn it over as much anymore can just as well is "EJ" and loves to pass the ball he will average 20 a game next year and you will be talking about how good he is......and jamarcus ellis won us the G Tech game so i think he has character

in The Morning After: Penn State on Inside the Hall
and if ej was all about himself why dont you hear him talking about himself and only trying to score he passes the ball to open player more then anyone else on that team besides jamarcus we lost the game because ellis was not there to keep the team together he does not make dumb decisions with the ball and would have helped us down the stretch

hoosierboy812 shot 16 threes dj was 8 for 11 give him the rock down low we win

in The Morning After: Penn State on Inside the Hall
He was prolly there for more then just EJ but you never know and stop giving him so much crap people he has a injured wrist and he said himself his three point shot wasnt falling and him and dak probably thought penn state would be a good game to try and get that shot on track and by the way Eric Gordon kept us in that game didnt blow it for us wait until he can get some time off for his wrist to completely heal and in the tournament he will be completely healthy and DJ wont be tired Jamarcus wont be suspended and Jordan Crawford can score 20 at anytime this team can still play with anyone once they realize what they are capable of doing they will start playing and be back to midseason form you just wait

If IU hires a guys that doesnt know what discipline is then i will never watch IU again or maybe only if they hire Calipari

in Ebanks bolting from Bloomington on Inside the Hall
Devin Ebanks is obviously a spectacular player but right now it looks like Matt Roth and Terrel Holloway will still be coming to IU along with Tom Pritchard and I do not think any of the players currently on the team will transfer so IU will have a solid squad again next year with Eli anchoring the paint and Armon and Crawford in the backcourt with Holloway and Roth coming off the bench we will still have Jamarcus, who will play better next year not being the third or fourth option on the floor, and who knows who the new coach will be able to get from JC

Let Ebanks leave he didnt even make the McDonalds All American Game and he is supposed to be on the top 15 players in the country to me that throws up a red flag

Im Nominating Armon Basset for Big Ten Player of the Year 2008-09 Season

its not our players fault that MSU is shooting 84% so how about all of you just stop giving are players crap MSU decided that they would put magnets inside the ball and on the rim so they would shoot good IU will get that rim and ball next half so we will se what happens and there is no way that someof these offensive fouls are really happening against us

Scott sorry, I am a teacher. Couldn't help.
Scott By the way it is "giving OUR players crap" Not "giving ARE players crap"

If Armon and Jamarcus can play defense on Neitzel and Morgan we will win this game but if not it'll be a long afternoon.....we will need Jordan too come off bench and score about 15 points, EJ needs to play under control if and if he starts getting eratic DD needs to pull him out but if Armon does what he does and DJ controls the paint the game shouldnt even be a scare

in Dan Dakich on Pardon the Interruption on Inside the Hall
i really think if dakich does well he will be the coach and if not i will feel extremely bad for him because this will be his only oppurtunity for i think he has the potential being a defensive minded coach he already has the respect from the players to me the onyl question is his recruiting ability they could bring in people to do the recruiting for him i do hope if he is not named head coach the future coach keeps him as assistant head coach or associate head coach because i will feel very poorly for him if he doesnt have anything to do with IU basketball again after this situation

bleeding crimson ESPN hires Bob M Knight as Tourney Analyst. Talk about some good times, I wonder how he'll comment on IU.
BC
tberry I think if he does well all the old Knight crony supporters will be there pushing him just like Mike Davis BUT any of the coaches there could have done as good a job with this team.

Get off the "Knight players are gods" crap and find a proven winner for IU's program.

Wisconsin will win it outright IU cant win at Michigane State and Wisconsin has MSU at home which they will probably win but if they dont IU can win at MSU because they will still be riding that high from winnin at wisconsin and then if it wasnt for the refs not calling travel on travon hughes we would be talkin about IU getting a nuber one seed
