I have a question though: I went to Prophet.net but couldn't figure out how to find the page where you run the scans to get your "Industries showing strong buying money flow of last 3 months" table. Any help is appreciated!

Re: How to find Strong Stocks using Prophet.net Scans

Fantastic post! I've been having a hard time finding a way to do sector analysis and this is a great way to find a group of stocks that is about to move for my swing trading!! Gracias :)

Re: Bulls on Fire - Midweek Chart Views

I had a nice day today in my swing trading. Only my single put was stopped out and my other longs did very nicely today.

Re: Link: Sources on Sector Rotation

btw, I think the author is a "she" not a "he" if I recall correctly :)

Re: Simple Trading Strategy Development Data

Interesting read! Thanks for taking the time to create the site. I know it's a lot of work since I've tried to do one myself and to post regularly although it was more of a personal trade journal rather than something to teach others. I'm currently in the phase where after a great runup earlier this year I pretty much almost blew out my account in the past two months. It's definately depressing and I was able to empathize with your comment about lacking the motivation to continue on, however it's sites like this that gives me hope that I'll learn something that will help me break out of this cycle and become a consistently profitable trader someday. Anyhow congrats again and cheers!

Re: An Amazing Run - NOV

NOV is definately a beauty. I got in and out of it a few times and made some nice coin on it this year. I also had it in my portfolio when NBC was doing the 1 million dollar stock contest thing earlier this year and was tracking it on my Yahoo virtual portfolio. I just looked at the portfolio and it's up 60% (~ $600,000 on the 1 million) so far with most of the holdings in NOV and ATW holding it from around March till now. Too bad my real life portfolio isn't even positive at the moment and if only I had a million bucks to invest sigh... lol :)

Re: ETF vs My Mutual Fund

Sorry to hear about the poor fund performances. I've never bought a mutual fund but have dabbled with ETFs, and your posting confirms my belief to not invest into a mutual fund.

Also here's an interesting article on why mutual funds are a scam and to invest into a bag of ETFs: http://www.sanfran.com/content_areas/home/view_...
