In the case of Katrina, hundreds of oil platforms were damaged, many destroyed. How much damage was done? Zip, nada, nuttin. Why are you guys always so bleak in your outlook? How unhappy you must be.

That was one week after Katrina hit. That area is still polluted and toxic. You won't know how much damage has been done for decades, if not generations.
