in Blog Facelift with Thesis 1.5.1 on rumblepup
The site does look really great. I love the look....and I do of course love me some Calibri...

Now, I'm not really one to speak, because my own blog is a pretty straight and simple Thesis design...but I'm working on some new stuff...

But for me - the easiest way to tell a Thesis design...? The byline. Most people don't bother to change the byline (I didn't on my blog). I actually really like it. But...it's how I can tell if something's a Thesis-based design or not...

rumblepup @Adam Walker Cleaveland - And another thanks sir. I've said it before, Thesis out of the box, black on white, is still a knee knocker. This rollout of my blog is just a starting point for me to take it and Thesis as far as I can take it.

I like these - the archives one especially but you have an error in your code. When I copy + pasted from your site, it pasted ALL of my entries under the "Last 100 posts" section. You're missing a "&" in the code.

Matt Langford Thanks, Adam! Definitely a typo there...

in How Twitter Was Born on 140 Characters
Loved reading the narrative of Twitter. I was a skeptical user - started up once - thought it was pointless. Then started up again about a year later, started following the right people, and I've been a hard-core user ever since...I work in youth ministry in Livermore, CA and have seen Twitter as a great way to connect with the youth of our church. So, thanks!

Also, I don't know if you ever saw something we did, "Twitter of Faith." You can check it out. It was a pretty cool thing - ended up being primarily Christians - but we tried to open it up to people of other faiths (or no faiths).

Thanks for Twitter!

in Why I Won’t Be Buying a ‘Green’ Bible on (Ir)religiosity
BTW, your comment system wouldn't allow me to write "Adam Walker Cleaveland" as my name - said it was too long.

Flat out name-discrimination, man ;)

in Why I Won’t Be Buying a ‘Green’ Bible on (Ir)religiosity
Good thoughts Blake....I think these are all important issues to think about. I got a couple free copies of the Green Bible to review, and as far as different kinds of "hip" Bibles go, it's a nice Bible. But I can't say I would have bought it on my own...

Thanks for the link! But you spelled the theme name wrong, it's CLEAKER not Creaker.

Peace.

I did all three - however for the email portion, I signed up with my business email account, which is different from this personal one. Is that cool?

in Great Worship on The Church Geek
That is one of the things I enjoy most about worship in Miller Chapel. Some of the great hymns blasted out by Martin Tel on the organ, with the chapel just filled with people...it's great.

Gets a little old day, after day, after day during the year, considering the fact that Martin and others are incredibly strict with what they "allow" in worship during the academic year. A friend of mine led some more contemporary stuff every now and then but it was always a real stretch and a bit of an "inconvenience" if someone preaching wanted something other than Martin playing the organ...

But...good music though...
