Buena Vista Television had done some intelligent stuff in the late 1990s. Win Ben Stein's Money was one of the best half-hour question-and-answer big-money game shows in Comedy
Central history, having garnered nine Daytime Emmy Awards, including Best Game Show and
Best Game Show Host (Ben Stein and a pre-Set for Life Jimmy Kimmel) for which the series was nominated. There were three contestants answering the correct response to questions from five hilarious categories in an effort to win the daily grand prize of $5,000.

Tribune Entertainment has announced it is no longer distributing Family Feud because of their
decision to drop FF in mid-September in favor of Lionsgate unit Debmar-Mercury. I am happy to
say that Tribune Entertainment has put itself up for sale along with th rest of the Chicago-based
company's Tribune Broadcasting unit, which also includes Superstation WGN and Tribune Studios. Thinking about selling Tribune Broadcasting may be in the cards for Tribune these days
if the price is right.

I can't imagine how game show fans had a passion for Camouflage.

Camouflage, the classic 1960s game show that had a cult following with ABC viewers, is coming back as a GSN original series - Chuck Barris resurrected the vintage half-hour show as a syndicated program in the 1980s; before that, Jerry Hamer executive produced the 1961 original.

Some things never changed, until now.

Whatever happened to "The Great American Dream Vote?" I am very unhappy with ABC's just
cancelled reality series now that parent studio Disney/Touchstone sent an e-mail to Time Warner
chief executive Richard Parsons concerning the implosion of "TGADV" and why it shouldn't come
back. Don't expect Donny Osmond to return to small-screen electronic media any time soon.

Thus Mr. Osmond, whose resume includes the dueling "Donny and Marie Shows" on ABC and
in first-run broadcast syndication, has had a long career as a recording artist, beginning with such
chart-topping #1 singles as "Crazy Horses" and "One Bad Apple." He began his career in the
1960s as a guest on classic TV's "The Andy Williams Show."

On Polydor/Interscope Geffen A&M, his recording credits include "Winning Combination" in
1977, the 1979 follow-up "Goin' Coconuts" and "Donny & Marie - Featuring Songs from Their
Television Series," for which he recorded alongside his sister Marie, who had a successful country music career in the 1970s with her classic adult standard "Paper Roses."

Mr. Osmond is currently in the process of hosting "Donny's Pyramid Game," from Japanese-
owned Sony Pictures Television International. Taping begins later this month in the U.K. for the
program's previsiously announced late May launch.

Are there any more 60-minute editions of 1 vs. 100 (pronounced "One Versus 100") scheduled to
be telecast by NBC in the future? Should Bob (Farce of the Penguins, Full House, Dirty Work) Saget return to series television any time soon? Can 1 vs 100 survive without Saget? Will Dermot
O'Leary fill in Saget's shoes as the new host of the U.S. version of 1 vs. 100?

Regardless of whenever 1 vs. 100 returns to the Peacock Network next fall, I won't be surprised
if Een Tegen 100 cools down the American invasion. But for how long?

With Chain Reaction coming back for a second season, GSN is resurrecting the classic 1960s
word/trivia game show Camouflage at the same time Tucker Carlson asks contestants the same
old question "Do You Trust Me?"

Jimmy Kimmel is about to be "Set for Life" post-"Win Ben Stein's Money," as ABC debuts its
