Let see what kind of battery life the other phones will have when Flash is running in them. Presently the other phones open to the web experience is very very small and negligible. Everyone is talking about how great Flash will be in the phones so we will see in a few months time whether you be eating crow or Apple.

Your view had opened up a lot of possibilities for the ecosystem for the iPhones - someone will come up with a battery pack for gamers, rapid charger too and apps that will overcome the many iPhones' limitations of today provided Apple wouldn't put a stop to them. Give it sometime.

The Palm will go back to its place as a niche player per se.

The only chance it has is for Sprint to fully subsided it. Look around there are many iPhone wannabees and everyone is fighting to survive the recession and the end result will be a lot of good stuffs coming out.
And by the time the Pre is launched it will be a has been.
One more thing no one knows its user's experience and every bloggers blogged on the strengthen of the presentation.

Being the dominant mobile phone company China Mobile will try to extract every concession they can from Apple. The best bet for Apple is to look for a smaller company and then build up their market share from there.
It is better to put the fear into China Mobile by opening negotiation with another company rather than being cornered by them. No point talking to a company that think you need them more than they need you.

Ceaser, you are spot on on the 'Think Different' attitude of Apple and when you brought up this point the impact it has on me on the Air becomes more apparent.
The problem is the rest did not see it as the way of thinking different because they are still in their old mindset of what should be the norm.

In Asia the data plan is a sure kill for any smartphone, it very expensive and all asian countries' telcos don't have the unlimited wireless data plan.

The problem of the iPhone is it must be tied to a limited wireless data plan in addition to a contract whereas for the other brands a person can sign up for a contract with a telco without having to sign up for a wireless data plan.

I don't know how you got your results, the new softwares of Apple are making these new iterations rock. A lot of blogs said the Mac Mini is not up to par in terms of performance, I believe they have not use it before.
