in Optin Accelerator Closed – Too Risky? on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
I am glad optin - accelerator closed. It was a very risky business model and I dont like my email address being imported all over the place.

I setup a special email address just for Linkedin. And in that email address I get non stop invitation from Linkedin members for to join other social networks using a the optin - accelerator system grrh....

in A Reflection on my Ad-Free Month on Pajama Professional
My experience has shown me that most reports are not really worth anything. Why? Because the authors themselves have not tested what they wrote and even if they did it is probably outdated already. Another question if its such a great way to make money report then why sell it. The author could just use the information himself rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

in Introducing… Gosh That’s Green on Pajama Professional
People need to be convinced about going green. The world is already way too polluted and getting worse. Too many people and countries do not care.

in Pajama Professional’s Plummeting Pagerank on Pajama Professional
Did having a high PR give you any advantage apart maybe from selling links at higher prices.

Most of the time the no. 1 ranking site in a search does not have the highest PR.

Good content that people want to read is the key to having a popular blog. Word of mouth or links from other blogs builds traffic. Traffic builds income.

I have some PR3 blogs which I never update that have PR3 and TLA. The PR3 has been there for 2 years. So go understand.

in No I Did Not Link To You Again. Technorati Is Just Screwing With Your Mind. on Vlad Zabblotskyy - A politically Incorrect Blogger
I don't have as many blog reactions as you but I have also seen strange stats from technorati on the same day the numbers go up and down. I am using feedburner will have to see if there is a problem with it.

The video shows how technology can do amazing things. Now all that needs to be done is to find realistic applications for this technology at reasonable prices.

in Poll: Did LinkedIn Lose Out to Facebook? on Marketing Pilgrim
People are jumping from one networking site to another. You can not develop a business network doing that. Internet Marketers jumped on FB as soon as they let anyone join. Will it be another IM fad. Actualy it will all depend on your market.

And the winner will be?

in Email still delivers sales at the lowest cost on Marketing Pilgrim
This article says that an average retailer mails its list 64 times a year. On average that would give one email every week giving a 6% conversion rate. I think that this conversion rate is very good. I do agree with you that retailers could do better with better planning. In my opinion they should add testimonials and practical uses for their products. A cookware retailer could send a receipe needing a certain kind of pan give a discount coupon for the pan and add receipes on the website. The client would have to go to the website to get the dscount coupon. Many retailers also dont have upsells.
