I thought Molly Moon's was average, at best. Hailing from Austin, TX, it was a far cry from Amy's Ice Cream, which is what I'm used to for "neighborhood" ice cream shops.

Been to Fainting Goat twice; Cinnamon the first time (it was good, not great), and Hazelnut the second time (amazing). I tried the lemon before I left the second time and immediately regretted not getting lemon.

I say, get lemon.

I just talked to a co-worker right now who has his CPA, and he found out two of his scores on Saturday morning!

Releasing scores on staurdy morning is no longer a legend, it's reality.

Truthfully, has anyone received thier scores yet?

Cash only is the ONLY downside. My wife and I shared the cinnamon. Wow. I loved the fact they also had the kids table/crayons/construction paper pad for my son to play with.

I am one of the so called "lucky" to receive the beta code. After downloading it and trying to go online, the servers were down(i didnt get home untill 12:00 am so i didnt get to check my emails untill then). After creating my avatar(which has some decent character models), i found that it was pretty boring. there is nothing to do but to talk to people. it strikes me that sony fanboys talk as if this is some kind of innovation. innovative for a console maybe, but not for gaming in general. since it is only the beta i am not going to be too critical.

I find you comments interesting since your firm dumped (and many loyal users would say ruined) the company @Last Software (makers of SketchUp) to Silicon Valley 'borg machine' Google as soon as the price was right. You say "strengths as a community and applying it to tech is critical" but then cash out to Silicon Valley ASAP. Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.

Ngchen, as a pro-choice, pro-life Christian, I do not believe abortion is okay. I believe that as children of God, all life is sacred and God-breathed. But I also do not pretend to know that human life begins at conception, which quite frankly, is not Biblically supported, and I do not pretend to be the arbitrator of morality for everyone in the United States.

That being said, I do know that should a friend or family member ask me for advice regarding abortion, I would be strongly against it.

The fact is, so-called "pro-life" politicians talk a lot about abortion, but I doubt they will ever do very much about the issue. As long as abortion is around, these folks will have a platform to run- and win- on.

What we need to do is elect people who are truly pro-life, who respect the fact that as a nation, we disagree on the issue of when life begins, and also on the issue of abortion, but will be firm in their conviction to reduce the number of abortions. There is nothing more hypocritical than a "pro-life" politician who is willing to cut welfare programs, including programs that benefit impoverished mothers, and yet pontificates on the evil of abortion.

This is going to be lame, but it just popped into my head...

I have the biggest dilemma: Having Dish allows me to watch the German Package which includes the Bundesliga. I am finally able to watch the games in German. Their show Saturdays includes watching a conference of the 6 Saturday games as well as the Sunday show with a conference of the 2 games.
It was the perfect solution for me. As a huge Bayern fan, I could conveniently watch their games live on Gol Tv and record the Bundesliga show simultaneously(even switch for the haltime show and of course all the highlights right after the game).
Now I can't even switch completely; otherwise the German package will be lost.
I am forced to get something like Uverse and cut down DISH to a minimum.
The second the German Package is available anywhere else, I will drop DISH. They just ignored soccer fans like us.

I fight with hangers all the time. I cannot stand the wire hangers that the dry cleaners give you, they always injure me. Its quite the scene..


I've moved 8 times in the past 4 years while in college, I've been there before.

Also I confess to Alison, I have no idea what Postum is, but instant coffee does not sound appealing.

Thanks for the shout out! I agree the anti-comedy comedy is dreadfully awful. I'm not the biggest Norm McDonald fan though, and judging by the reaction from the crowd I think they lit up extra "APPLAUSE" signs while he was on to make it easier to watch.


I would have liked to see Lisa Lampenelli be there as well as the Olson twins, as the roast was more about them then about Bob.

I watched the roast and it was good, but I cannot decide if Norm McDonald was flat out terrible or if he did his set on purpose (I'm guessing on purpose).

Why is it such a bug deal if he spends his money like this?

He had to work extremely hard to get to where he is now, and you think he should live in a 2 bedroom apartment??

Of course not, and it also makes sense for him to build a gym. Especially for in the off season, its a good way to stay at top shape with out having to drive to the training fields and back,
