This feature is now built right into Chrome, provided you are using the latest dev release.

Right click on any tab in the window and choose "Bookmark all tabs..a bookmark popup dialog will appear asking you where to save your bookmark.

This is very nice of google. If you notice carefully, the background of the doodle/logo resembles the khadi cloth (A coarse homespun cotton cloth made in India) which he always preferred.

Are the files actually attached to the email or uploaded on Drop.io's servers? I mean, If I send a 100MB file from Yahoo mail to Gmail, will Gmail be able to get it? Because, as you mentioned, Gmail can't take more than 20MB of attached stuff. So if the files are stored with Drop.io, it'd clear things and make sending files around anywhere a breeze.

No, it won't update to the 2010 version automatically. You will have to purchase the 2010 version separately.

But I think, 2009 version fully updated with all the patches will give _almost_ the same level of security, except the new features that 2010 has.

Oh, so you mean the inbuilt partition manager in windows. I wont suggest you to delete your ubuntu partition from there. (I'd that once, and grub was screwed)

All I can advice is that you pop in your ubuntu cd, select manual mode while installing, choose the previous ubuntu 8.04 partition, select it and mark it for a format as ext4 and perform the installation on that same partition. The grub will be updated.

If you haven't done this before, why dont you try the inbuilt upgrade mechanism in ubuntu. Install all the updates via the update manager and then select the update for the newer version. But I am not sure if it will download 8.10 first and then 9.04. So i think you can follow a reinstall via the cd.

If you install the newer version 9 over your previous version, i mean just install it over the version 6 by formatting it's partition, nothing will happen to your xp.
BTW, what do u mean by "partition in windows"?

I consulted with my linux advisor and this is what he says : If you install Ubuntu over the existing install by manually partitioning it should just replace GRUB. Windows will overwrite the boot manager, but Ubuntu will generally play nice.

Well, i think no OS is good or bad. You cannot say that you cannot live without windows.. you can..just try it..being that you have all the sources and you know what you are doing with your linux installation. There are thousands and thousands of softwares available free of cost for ubuntu. All the servers and VPSs run on linux distros. Games are the only thing where linux presently lacks... and that that too will be going all well in the future.
If you say that you love windows and would not even touch ubuntu... i will be glad that i at least told you about the opportunities but you may have to repent later.
What I think is that you should try every OS, look at the advantages and disadvantages, enjoy the advantages and at least try to improve upon the disadvantages and not just fight over My OS is good and your's is bad :D
And by the way who says that everything is not GUI-fied in Ubuntu? :|
