in Django and Python First Impressions - Part II on Perplexed Labs
Django does have pluralization:
http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/topics/i18...
Unfortunately, it's an extremely difficult problem to solve globally, because the rules change from language to language. Polish is often mentioned as a worst-case because they have something like five forms of a noun for various quantities.
So really, you can either write a globally-correct system that works with all known languages but is massively overkill for simple English uses, or you can write a provincial singular/plural function that annoys translators.
I've never used Rails, so I have no idea what they offer, but I suspect it's the latter.

Krugman just called; he says you're a big fat doodoo-head.
Also, he's rubber and you're glue.

Hmph, that's a pretty rational and genteel response by Krugman's standards.

There also were no Pentiums in 1992, at all. Perhaps he meant 1996? His point still stands: electronic components tend to get (dramatically) cheaper over time. Somebody get this guy a Nobel Prize for Economics.

Geeks are heavily distrustful of *all* power, not just governmental power.
Note the widespread support for net neutrality regulations, or the general sentiment towards Microsoft, or any number of other issues where they prefer government intervention to corporate freedom.

Granted, but the people ripping Ampersand apart at his site are not arguing "When I search for porn on Google, my results are unfairly skewed".
They feel that the pornography industry exploits women, and are upset that he came to *any* agreement with them that did not involve his middle finger. He would be receiving similar flak, from the same people, if he had just posted the sentence "I support the porn industry", and it was to these people that Brandon addressed his post.
