This is a good idea! Otherwise the gov probably sets up committees who hire other people to get the same data. This is a much better idea, simple and saves money.

Hi Jason,

Marketing email would cause spam only if unwanted so this can be avoided by those links which many websites have, where on registration they ask you whether we are subscribing to newsletters/updates whatever, so people can easily just uncheck that if not interested.

We at Mahindra & Mahindra have recently started a corporate blog. www.mahindrauniverse.com. It is not really a blog where we market our companies but we do try to keep Mahindra in our posts and conversations.
One of our bloggers who has to travel a lot for work has become popular through his travelogue posts!
So as Lindsay mentioned corporate blogging can be a lot of fun.

Hi Chris,
I find the ideas a bit too company oriented. How about topics that are well not mainly on the companies products/policies but more general.
However I definitely have gotten ideas for a few new posts from here.
