Yeah, as i said in my blog, mostly what I hope will come from the show is a drop in price of other phones with something so much better in iPhone coming out. As for 'appletv' I like the idea, but won't get one anytime soon since I don't have a decent hi-def TV.

This is pretty damn evil of Alexa & Amazon.com to do this.

I hate the Alexa ranking. My site is barely above 1,000,000 and this doesn't make much sense to me.

I've had Windows Vista for a couple of months. Like you, I did not have to pay full price for it.

Needless, to say, I am very impressed with it. For the most part it looks a lot better, and seems faster. Even Windows Media Player 11, when you switch on some settings to simplify it is much better.

I also highly recommend making Ctrl Shift 4 open up the Snip tool (to emulate the screen capture tool in Mac OS X).

In the latest update, my page is now a PR5! I am also happy to report that in April I had my best month for adsense, EVER!

Anyway, I'd also like to know if there is a tool for checking each individual pages pagerank, or do you just do it manually? I am checking my page with the Firefox SearchStatus plugin.

I agree that the site is looking a little better. I also like your new MyBlogLog avatar. It identifies your site better than just a picture of you(mine is a picture of the hottest woman alive, btw).

I'd still like to know how you did that 'Top Ranked Posts' list. Is it a plugin, or done manually?

Typically, I think that the targeted ads in adsense works very good. However, as some users have pointed out, there is always that weird one that on the surface doesn't appear to have anything to do with the site.

As far as the content of links provided by adsense, it varies. I would have to say that I have seen a lot of sites that are clearly SEO optimized. They are rich in content but aren't really appearing to the eye. However, I have also seen pages that are very appealing to the eye, and I have actually favorite'd and gone back to some sites I found via adsense ads.

Knowing that the owner of the site gets paid for every click, I try to at least pay attention to the ads and check for links that interest me.

Typically though, I don't always look really hard for ads, so they should definitely position where I should see them during my normal site navigation.

Size of the ad doesn't matter.

Hi Garry,
It's been quite awhile since I posted on your site. I guess you could say I have a somewhat short attention span when it comes to such things. I am very busy, and I am constantly changing the blogs I look at on a regular basis, and comment on.

Anyway, my goal by the end of the month is to get my first check from Google Adsense. I can smell it. I can taste it. I am so excited.

It is well known that gmail stores your address book within a temporary javascript file or something like that. So, if you stay logged into gmail other sites can in fact read this file.

Look it up. This is the first time I have seen this actually used though.

I love this feature! I actually use it for other things. One example is making Ctrl+Shift+4 (similar to Command+Shift+4 on a Mac) to bring up Snipping Tool in Windows Vitsa so that it acts like Mac OS X.

This could be pretty useful in that you can encrypt sensitive data you are sending by e-mail or posting on the web.

I agree that it would be pretty cool for Gmail Paper to become a reality. Although, I almost must realize that users of the service can make their own Paper copies. It's called a printer.

As for TiSP, it'd be awesome if it were real. Until I read what the acronym actually stood for, I thought it was real.

I disagree with this. Google makes their money on AdWords and featured ads in search results, so yes, they are a search engine company, but they are only profitable because of ads, thus they are an Advertising company.

I welcome a move to television, as I think TV ads effect my purchase decisions far more then Internet ads do.
