Facebook apps are in reality, websites. Have we reached the saturation point for websites?

To me this just feels like 1999 with tons of useless sites on Geocities. Within the crowd, though, some have real value ( http://apps.facebook.com/carpool/ ) and I think that over time this will sort itself out.

The directory itself will probably be useless in not too long, just as web directories like Yahoo and DMOZ are essentially unused now, in favour of search engines.

Re: My advergaming company has been approved by the University of Waterloo Enterprise Services!

wow, congrats

Re: So Many Web Designers, But So Few Talent

why not look for some local people? facebook, craigslist, kijiji, the web clinic, and upcoming designcamp and barcamps...

Re: Complete List of Web Directories

I wouldn`t even bother with any of that. The major search engines will all pick up your website as long as there are some links to it from websites they already index. Go ahead and submit to DMOZ although it doesn`t have much value these days. I wouldn`t bother with Yahoo, but that`s just my opinion and it depends what your site is. Any of the other general directories are worthless, although specific directories for your industry are good.

Also Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft all have ways in which you can claim your own websites and manage and view how they are being indexed, and that is worth doing.

Re: Brrreeeport report

You seem to have forgotten Blogdigger.com and Blogpulse.com
