in The Domino's Effect on Brian Solis
Anyone else remember the Johnson & JOhnson Tylenol Scare in the early 1980's? Their PR team was early adopters of the transparency from brands now required by social media and the web in general. I wonder, though, how the PR situation would have changed - or continued - if a similar thing happened in 2009.

in What Is Your Vote Based On? (by Brian McLaren) on God's Politics
For all those mocking the comparisons to Chavez and Obama, I have bad news. My good friend from Venezuela said Obama sounds exactly like Chavez did when he started getting into power.

Once again..Just one side of the story. There are many more that believe in the exact opposite. Why are the articles here so one sided?

in Are Women Natural Lovers? on Dale Fincher
"Love is open-faced and open-hearted, it only rejoices in the truth, refusing to passive-aggressively steer men behind the scenes."
This is a powerful statement. This post really resonated with me. I found myself trying to do all the traditional wifely things I had been told to do by well-meaning Christians after my husband and I married. And kept realizing it wasn't the woman my husband desired. He desired me, my friendship, my thoughts, for me to feel fulfilled. And I was so caught up in legalistically managing him and tryign to be the right kind of wife and do what all the right books said. Great insights. You're definitely on to something here. There isn't one easy answer, marriage is complicated, messy and not formulaic.

Cazzo, l'articolo è simpatico, però si presume che chi scrive sia capace di farlo. Allora non si può vedere "qual è" scritto con l'apostrofo

in The Search for Truth, God and Braver Scientists in ‘Expelled’ on The Colorado Independent
declining interviews Probably a lot of those scientists who declined to be interviewed, supposedly out of fear, were probably afraid of nothing more than being misquoted by these quacks, as has been done often by media-wielding proponents of Creationism (they seem to have a problem with integrity). I'm sure many did turn him down--which doesn't make him any less full of bullshit, of course. Carry on.

in Premier League’s Marketing Needs To Improve on EPL Talk
I'm convinced that the EPL doesn't want my business. So many of their online shops charge 20, 30 pounds to ship their kits to the United States. Ridiculous. If the prices came down to earth, I know tons of people who'd be nabbing EPL gear left and right. It's an absolute crime.
Who's handling this marketing disaster? It's the only reason I'm not wearing a Charlton, Portsmouth or Sheff United away kit right now. I realize we have Soccer.com, but they don't carry everything. Can't the EPL get their act together? The more people wearing their kits, the more visibility they (and their sponsors)have in the States. I know a BUNCH of people who are frustrated like I am.
