in Coke: Still unclear on the concept on Mathew's comments
I was in that session at Ad Tech where Stichweh spoke, and where was asked about the Eepybird episode.
As it turns out, he has only been employed by Coke for four months, and he wasn't even present for the decision making process behind the Eepybird decision. He tread very, very carefully around the question...and I think, it gives his quote a different meaning.
But, yes, elsewhere he did say the main measurement for engagement was, in the end, sales. And while some readers could question that, no other session at Ad Tech could come up with a better answer. Even the session with Ze Frank.

in Blogs can get hoaxed, or mislead (sorry to Iran’s president) on Scobleizer
Um, it wasn't a hoax in as much as the original blogger did see a Symantic warning when she accessed the khamenei.ir site.
This was a problem with Symantec's software.
Yeah, I know I'm being pedantic, but the original blogger reported correctly on what she saw.

in Search Engine Watch says that Google Base gets RSS’d on Scobleizer
With Google Base adding RSS feeds, I'm surprised that RSS isn't being used more in online retailing.
The only substantial use of RSS so far has been for feed files for online shopping engines.
Yeah, ebay allows one to create feeds for searches and Amazon has feeds for their categories, but really, how are they being used?
