i *heart* my crock pot something fierce. but it is difficult to master. i think i've only ever made two or three roasts that didn't turn out dry :-( -- alas, i shall keep trying

don't mistake this as me dissing any of your other posts recently, but this one is my favorite i've seen in a while. way to hit the nail on the head and remind all of us church-folk what's really important.

i'm in. i've lost 93 pounds in a year already, still have 107 to go. unfortunately the holidays came, lost some motivation and now i have 120 to go!

so yeah, i need to get back on the train. count my fat arse in.

it's weird. when i hear about things like this in the news, or even see it dramatized on some television show, i am disconnected. sure i'll look at my wife and say something like "i'd kill the man who did that to you" but it's really not something i think about.

i don't know tam personally. but knowing there is someone in my life i value, even if it hasn't yet been face to face, that has gone through something like this... makes me realize the reality of the situation.

thank you tam for sharing. i'm really looking forward to reading the rest. and, i can't tell you how happy i am that i already know the ending, and it's a lot better :-)

personally, and there is no haterade intended here, i mean this with the utmost respect and honesty, i feel we should just rename the top prize to the "lifechurch" award anyway. internet campus, second life campus, lifeshare, youversion, iphone bible app, church metrics, open, one prayer, their radical dedication to their mission AND equipping other churches with everything i already mentioned FOR FREE... i honestly can't think of a more innovative church. they are the bar, in this respect.

i'm not going to hijack this thread... but in my humble opinion, i would rather not ever do healer. it's not because i have anything against the song, but to me worship should be solely focused on God... and i can't help but have my mind wander to the events surrounding that song. so, to me, that song is a speed bump in my journey to get closer to god through musical worship.
