Il software mi piace molto: l'UI è carina e la visione dei filmati è migliorata notevolmente negli ultimi giorni. Consuma decisamente troppa ram però, e i canali al momento non sono molto interessanti.

I've tried the packet sniffer thing...but it won't help you decode the rtmp: format since that is a proprietary Macromedia format that they guard very carefully...
G'luck folks! I'll take a look at it some more when I get a chance.

<ul id="quote"><h6>Anonymous wrote:</h6>Heres an easy and simple way to save the song instead of listening on stream. This should also save the song in FULL high quality.
Get the link from the file using the above method^
Then open a blank notepad page, type in this code...
<html>
<body>
Right click here and click save target as
</body>
</html>
you need to replace YOUR LINK HERE with your full link so for example it might look like.....
then save the file to your desktop as a .htm document, so for example song.htm
Then go to your desktop and double click the htm file you just made.
It will be a web page, just do what it says......right click the text and click save target as, specify where you want to save your song, and OK and it will download! Simple!</ul>
I don't think that works. They're not hosting the file on http://myspace.com, and it wouldn't be any higher quality than the one I originally linked to. All you're doing is teaching people how to create a link that they can use the "Save As" function for.

It appears that Myspace has now fixed the hole. I believe they switched over to an rtmp stream, which, as far as I know, cannot be captured.

No, it works with FireFox as it's just a regular download once you locate the URL. You just have to find the XML file using IE first since the way FireFox organizes the cache is very odd.

Tell IE to save the file instead of playing it. Otherwise, it's as if it went into your cache.
Or use a tool like Download Accelerator Plus (or wget in *nix) and give it the URL.

All we need to do is get the XML file that the player loads and reads. The easiest way to do this is to clear your IE cache, reload the player from the band's site, and look for the XML file that gets created in your cache directory. The XML file may not be easy to spot without a clean cache directory. The file generally follows this naming convention:
MP3_XML.cfm?xmlfid=bandid&rand=xxxxxxxxxx (10 digit random number)
Cut and paste that XML file onto your desktop and open it wth Notepad.
Once you look in the XML file you will see the direct path of the mp3 song. For example: "92/12/57836332/57836332_d13db5fz.mp3" (this is an invalid link -- just an example)
After this, append that directory to http://musicstream.myspace.com and you're golden. For example, " http://musicstream.myspace.com/92/12/57836332/57836332_d13db5fz.mp3"
The streaming file is always 96kbit quality, while their downloadable songs are at 192kbit. I tested this using www.myspace.com/monstersarewaiting, since they have a song available for download. Their downloaded one is 192 and their streamed one, once I grab it using the method described, is only 96. Just an FYI!
