I thought SyncToy is alright, but can't beat the auto syncing that is part of the current sync tool I use, Allway Sync. The latest beat has some funky Scheduling as well as the auto syncing (including When

device is connected, every X mins or so many mins after the last file change happened).

And Aaron. Perhaps when Podshow start contacting their people about things like losing the Sirus deal, they will start contacting you. From what I hear, the Podshow podcasters want you to sign up Yaknom as at least he keeps them informed of what is going on!

Dude, if they were using ZenCast instead of Podcast, I would understand your issue. If they were trying to change the meaning of the word podcast, I would also understand but they aren't doing that, they are just spinning the word to something more inclusive.

On Saturday Podcasts were talked about on a Sports station and they were trying to say that you need an iPod to listen to them.

This is something that us techo's have to over come and its easy if we have a better explaination of the pod in podcasting.

I think the popular comments about these guys getting there own medicine in prison are quite ironic.

The interesting thing is that there are about 32 comments and about 3000 views just from today. Why the hell would the Age mention the You Tube video? Would they have mentioned if the whole video was available via bit torrent?

Congrats on the move. As one who moved from Typepad (their hosted service) to Wordpress (me hosting my own) I found the flexibility a blessing and a curse. Its great to have so much choice, but I found it an easy trap just changing things all the time and not adding any content.

Couple of things:
1) You guys should use Podpress Wordpress Plugin (http://www.mightyseek.com/podpress). Apart from anything out, it gives the ability to have Audio Comments in the Comments section
2) In the first story, you mention Coke and what there doing. Being that they are one of your Clients, you might want to disclose this in the podcast.

Yep that looks like it. I am abit disappointed as I would love to use WP but don't want to have the lockin on the template (if I could accept that I would go to MSN Spaces!). In say this, don't blame the WP people, if there was a chance of Scoble coming to my service (if I had one), I would do something like this as well.

Coby, sometimes its not an issue of skill but of finances!
If you give me a free server and free bandwidth, I am sure I can set it up. In fact if you where going to do that, maybe I might write my own. Wouldn't be as good as any available but would be a fun experiment.

Somewhat true except for two things:
1) Bandwidth cost (not great in Australia)
2) Reliablity. If you have a 5 year old and 14 month old, Reliablity sucks!
3) (I lied) Cost of running it. (Power, etc)

Not so much what is my favourite Plugin, but I would love to see a Wordpress Plugin that allows visitors to my podcast site upload or record audio comments and those comments to appear in the comments just like the other comments (expcept for the fact that they are audio, of course).

It would be then nice to have the Ablitiy to then monitor the comments via RSS with enclosures.

Thats the plugin that I would like to be able to see. If anyone ever writes it, let me know.

Personally, myself, I like it in this situation that the author would just have a note saying by the way, these guys are a client of mine. On HP, to be honest I haven't really read those entries. To be honest, like Garth, I found it strange that you (with your history) would be at a SAP conference. My first thought is that some how it had to do with the fact the Podtech has a relationship with SAP and you work for Podtech.
I am not say your swayed in your comments, but why I personally believe that its better to disclose and they there is never a question about it.

Just to get it straight, I don't think they are paying you to do these reports but it just takes all the questions away when you disclose.

If you want a great example of disclosure, have a look at Darrren Rowse (www.problogger.net). If there is even a question of a relationship he will mention it.

You are probably right that I over do it, it definitely is a hobby horse of mine. Bloggers are always asking to be thought of in the same breather or better then MSM Journalists. If this is the case, I believe disclosure is a very important. What would we be saying if some one from the New York times was asking why weren't other journalist covering a story that invloved a company they had a relationship with?

I love the disclosure policy idea and agree that it probably could be taken further. Maybe a plugin for Windows Live Writer that adds a disclosure to each post you choose in a certain format.

Also like the DP mentions relationships as I think it is nice to know the relationships people have even if they are not directly paying for a post. Example, if I was a big investor in lets say Microsoft, people should know that if I write about Microsoft. I work for Progress software, people should know that if I write about Progress.

(Warning, I came here from TechMeme and haven't look at all you posts today so you might have done this already) I would love to see what your DP would be like Robert. How about filling it in honestly and critically and letting us see it. You could also point out what you think it is lacking and what needs to be improved and of course, what they did right.

You up for the Challenge?

On their twitter feed they are using the Survivor Hashtag when telling me they aren't going to show the next series "hot off the satallite". That is like including the a US Survivors Magazine (that potientally could have the winner of Gabon in it) when replying to your letter telling you their not showing the show near live!

I can't believe they are such bone heads! Don't they understand with the Internet its nilly impossible to avoid the winners. I mean I know the winner and wouldn't it be Just Terrible if I accidently gave away the winner?

Yeah, its just dumb that GO/9 refuse to get up-to-date! They tweeted about Survivor with the Survivor hashtag the other day (for those no up with twitter its like writing a letter to you with a copy of the US Survivor newsletter included).
