One is a libertarian, and the other is an Authoritarian. There are differences, no matter how subtle they may sound to you, those differences are extremely important with regards to policy. The largest nanny government in our time was created by Authoritarians, and cheered on by the libertarians. It's sad, but ultimately, they are on the same side of toeing a party line rather than thinking what's truly right for this country.

Campaign Finance Law According to Colorado Campaign Finance Law, "No personal shall act as a conduit to a candidate committee." If in fact what you are doing is not contributing as a PAC, but as a "Conduit" you are in violation of the law, which Im guessing may carry a good size penalty taking into consideration the amount of money Polis accepted in that manner.

So which is it? You can't have it both ways.
