Very true, if we continue to destroy our environment one day we may have nothing to live on (or live in).

in Budgets on the rise for Conversational Marketing on Social Media Blog by Michael Brito
I agree with this post and I think there is definitely a lot of potential for conversation marketing, just like social networking.

I didn't like the idea of the show, but after I saw the first episode I thought it's actually not that bad at all.

in 10 Things They Need To Teach In Highschool on Instigator Blog
How about empathy? Or the ability to sense a fellow peer with problems?

In recent tragedies of the Virginia Tech shootings or the High school shootings I think young people can surely learn better about one another's differences.

I'm new to the blogging community so still learning a great deal from people. I've been pretty reluctant of joining the Technorati trains and such, since I don't really know what value does it bring to the readers. What are you guys' thought on that?

in John Chow Is Killing His Blog By Trying Too Hard To Make Money on Jim Kukral
I'm relatively new to the blogging community, so still learning a great deal about how the blogger-reader reaction works.

I have visit John's site a few times. I think occasionally he did post some interesting content but what really throw me off is the stuff about AGLOCO or something like that. I didn't know what it was but digger deeper it looks very suspicious like some kind of pyramid scheme so I decided not to follow the crowd.

Very interesting post btw.

in BumpZee, Follow, Nofollow And What You Can Do About It. on Sage Blogger
I have just recently joined the BumpZee do-follow community and I think it's a wonderful idea. I totally agree with Vlad, since sites like Digg if nofollow is used the sites will just see a short term traffic peak and slowly dies away.

But then I guess any traffic is better than no traffic, right?

in Getting Philisophical On Blogging on Webomatica
Very interesting post. I'm actually not a big fan of the meme stuff. I think what's important it to post relavant content that would be of interest to the readers.

Other than that, I think blogging is about having fun and doing something you really enjoy, because why else blog?

Just my 2 cents! :)

in My Fluffy Side on Webomatica
At one point our family used to owned at most up to 5 cats, it was really interesting that each of them had their own personality and style. With twenty-one cats it is a totoally different situation though.

I guess one good thing is that I have found out is that cats usually require less care taking than dogs. I could never imagine one having twenty-one dogs, unless you have a team of dog-servant taking care of them :)

in 5 Phrases You Never Want To Hear In A Presentation on Instigator Blog
A few years back I have been attending this club called "The Toastmasters" hosted by my company. I think they are a national organization that helps people with presentation skills.

Back then the company I worked for back then would actually provide free lunch and other perks for employees to attend the meeting. However, I actually found out it's a very helpful class and it teaches you all the essential elements to a great presentation. A lot of the key points are actually very similiar to this article.

Excellent article and great reading!

in Is Home Depot Scamming People With Fake Comments? on Instigator Blog
In light of this article there also appears to be some negative publicity regarding Home Depot in my neighborhood involving building supplies.

With the recent housing market plummeting and 50% drop in earning for the 1st quarter, I would say they are in a bit of trouble now..
