I will go on the web for video streams on occasion though.

How many Americans on this board actually paid the $25 fee for the US pay-per-view of last year's FA Cup Final with it's less-than-attractive match-up? Not me...

Does anyone really think the FA gives a damn about making its product more accessible on a global stage through technology and doing so at a reasonable price? Not me...

I'm sure the FA has been well aware of Justin.tv's existence by now, but I'm not worried about it. Even if Justin.tv, Sopcast or TVAnts were to get blown out of the water by a series of legal torpedoes, someone else will come along in short amount of time and take their place. That's the way things work on the Al Gore Intaraweb Thingy he (allegedly) invented. Napster as we knew it went under, bit torrents came along and picked up the slack.

Re: RTE Mocks Setanta Sports With Sellotanta Sports Video

Um... I didn't even crack a hint of a smile. Was this supposed to be funny?

Re: Poll: Chelsea Or Manchester United?

CR7 may not be completely match fit yet but I think SAF almost *has* to start him. When he came on Wednesday in the CL match, you could see the difference he makes in the side. I also have a feeling United will win at the Bridge 2-1.

Re: ESPN2 Shows EPL Teams Too Often In Champions League

I really don't think it matters if Man United were playing Cupcake FC, ESPN knows a United match is going to pull in viewers. There's a reason why United is one of the biggest clubs in the world -- lots and lots of fans around the world. To spin it in a different direction... if you were an Aalborg fan, wouldn't you think it was pretty cool knowing your side wound up playing a match live on ESPN, the biggest sports network in America? I would.

Having said that, I'm sure ESPN is also angling to get a shot at Prem TV rights when they come up for bid again.

Re: London 0 Hull 4: Hull City Make History

Lol... I thought about this album a couple of weeks ago and lo and behold, here it is on EPL Talk. Everyone knows "Happy Hour" off this album, but "Sheep" was a good little pop song too.

After The Housemartins broke up, didn't one of the band members end up with one-hit wonder London Beat? Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Re: Say No To Sunderland’s Negative Tactics

Seems a lot of the Big Four are walking onto the pitch this season to find "buses parked in front of the goal." I suspect it's something we will be seeing more of. Sort of like how the so-called left wing lock changed NHL hockey -- its boring as hell to watch, but strategically it works.

Re: Benitez Attacks Ferguson: Press Conference Video

Lawlz...
