Exactly, I'm excited for MM and basketball season too, but I'm also excited for football. We need to pack the Rock for revenue, and to show support for the team, coaches, and in honor of Coach Hep. Anyway, GO IU and nice blog.

I love Kentucky fans. On Catspause, they claim that they are bringing 10,000 fans to Assembly Hall. Obviously, all of our fans are going to be intimated by Bill Clyde and his recruiting prowess, which will lead to every IU fan selling their tix to UK fans. We are screwed. LOL

Great news! The Wolf Challenge is a great event (I live in Sellersburg). Should be a lot of fun. Bill Murray was there last year and he made things interesting to say the least.

Won't happen. All Big Ten schools are members of the Association of American Universities. Also, US News ranks every Big Ten school in the top 70 nationally (first tier), while UofL is a third-tier school. Good athletics, bad academics.

Seriously, every Big Ten school is better academically than UofL. I'm not saying UofL doesn't have some good programs (the Speed School), but overall, Louisville isn't a good fit. Also, like BC said, IU is a quality school. IU has the #1 music school in the US and several highly ranked programs.

I was there too. I graduated from Providence this past year, and we played Winchester before EJ's game. Although we lost, I loved watching EJ play. He is unbelievable! Can't wait for Thursday night.

Of course we can beat Illinois. They have been hyped like crazy the last 2 years, and they couldn't beat us either time. And they haven't done that great this year either (Juice Williams still has NO accuracy). I say we beat dUI by 7.

We are fine at guard. In 08, we will have have Bassett, Crawford, Ellis, Mackey, and Roth to play 2 spots while Ebanks plays the 3. In 09 we are going after strickland and a few other top guards. You can NEVER have too many bigs.

Oh please. Dumes was out of line, but come on. Dane Fife was worshiped by our fans, and he constantly threw elbows, played "dirty", and for the love of God, he bit a player. Its the Big Ten. these things happen. Don't act like our players have never been involved in these types of things.

And suggesting that he will get a five game suspension is just asinine.

I'm sorry, but when has there ever been a 5 game suspension for throwing elbows? This is just getting ridiculous. This doesn't "damage" IU's reputation. He played stupid yesterday, and got caught, but this is hardly the first time an IU player has done these things (once again, Dane Fife, etc). Stop overreacting.
